But seriously, Aniston's track record is just abysmal. I think Brad is the only decent guy she ever dated but then I always though he was way out of her league and never understood how she managed to land him (and I'm not even a big Brad fan, I like him as an actor but as a person I think he's rather bland).

..and imo that was exactly the thing these two had in common personality wise...they're both pretty bland and uncharismatic - just a well packed presentations with a very hedonistic aspirations which, again imo, turned ugly for Aniston in the meanwhile (bringing to surface her newfound problem with men which Huvane somehow made it as apparent as it gets and clear to anyone following marketing strategies every 100 years or so) and made Brad wanting to settle down after awhile at some point - lets not kid ourselves - Aniston was as high-profiled as it gets back in the day these two started dating and Brad always knew who to pick and how to get picked and tbh i seriously doubt he'd be as uber-mega-turbo-highprofiled if he wasn't with Angelina - probably the one of the smartest in the business when it comes to presentation and being elastic with it (and career in general) which isn't something you can say about Huvane and his "PR".

ugh, Brad is bland as an actor too, not just personality. I still can't believe he got an Oscar nom for Benjamin Button. The movie itself was boring but his performance was also mediocre. For a guy who has spent 20 years in the biz, he should be a much better actor by now, but I think he chose to coast on his heartthrob status for far too long and only recently has started to be selective about choosing quality projects that actually provide some sort of challenge.

So the Bilson & Bosworth BI... greaseball = Justin Levine? He does look kinda greasy. And instead of That Ryan (most likely Reynolds because Gosling/Philippe don't do rom com), they got... Jason Biggs. lol

Caroliiine, I don't think you're familiar with Brad's career at all. 12 Monkeys? Legends of the fall? Seven? Fight Club? All these movies are critically acclaimed (some would say cult classics) and are all at least a decade old. He has been doing quality work forever.
I completely agree about BB though, that movie was painful. He should have gotten his nomination for Jesse James.

Given the fact that Brad cheated on Jennifer, I would say he is not a great guy either. Plus, Brad is said to be highly image conscious and controlling himself. It's interesting that Brad would not forgive Gwyneth Paltrow for cheating on him only to end up cheating himself.

This sounds very much like Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox. This paints an interesting picture, because there was also a BI about Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow showing up someplace and not speaking to one another at all.

I've seen Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, and Se7en. I wasn't too impressed in Fight Club (liked the film but I think Ed Norton outshone him there). 12 Monkeys was OK. I don't really remember Se7en except that Paltrow's in it as well.

It's probably because I associate Brad with films like Troy, Meet Joe Black, Ocean 11/12/13, Mr. & Mrs. Smith which are audience-pleasers but mediocre films (kind of like Transformers).

Are Cox and Aniston really just BFF for show? They seem genuine to me... Aniston is Coco's godmother and I remember she spent Thanksgiving with the Arquettes one year. Not really something you do for a fake/PR friend.

I'm not saying this is right, just different. More of a Paul Newman/Joan situation than a Tiger Woods situation, if you see what I mean.
Very, very true about Brad being a control freak but I still think he is fairly decent when it comes to women. Even when he was young, he never had a the reputation for being a player or a cheater or a douche-bag. He always was a serial monogamist.

How do you go from that to John Meyer is anyone's guess.

Um this is still only a rumour. Gwyneth has never said the words "Yes I cheated on Brad". The person who was mentioned in the tabs at the time was John Hannah (Sliding Doors) and that was shot down by him cause they didn't really get along so I doubt he f*cked her just for fun.

So as it wasn't him then who was it cause no one not even Laniey has ever been able to come up with a name. And please don't say Viggo cause she had already broken up with Brad when she filmed A Perfect Murder and it wasn't Ben either as they got together months after the split. She was too busy hanging with Winona in between.

If Gwyneth cheated - I don't blame her. She was, what, 23 when she was engaged to Brad? She would've been too young to get married and would've ultimately divorced him. Besides, at that point, she was just ascending as the next great actress. In the end, Brad's career has held up better and Angelina's will as well, so he ultiamtely made the right choice in ending up with Jolie - if he has concerns over his legacy. She ensures many biographies to be written about these two for yeas to come.

I think it means that the hairdresser won't suffer if he loses her as a client but she would suffer a lot if he sold all her secrets.

The rumour was strengthened when in one of the few interviews where she talked about the break-up, Gwyneth admitted it had been her fault.

Anyway, 90% of what is discussed here is a rumor. There is no proof Brad and Angie started their relationship before Brad and Jennifer separated either. It's just a matter of what you choose to believe.
As Lainey says, 'gossip is a buffet'.
