Lindsay Lohan has $40,000 Worth of Tanning Debt

Lindsay Lohan is feeling the heat. The troubled starlet owes over $40,000 in unpaid bills – for (wait for it) spray tans. At least, by the looks of that picture over there, she got her money’s worth.


According to TMZ, Lohan was ordered by a judge nine months ago to pay the salon that gave her the spray tans. However, LiLo never got around to it. Now the salon, called Tanning Vegas, is attempting to have the case moved to Lindsay’s home state of California, so that her assets can be attached to the bill. The debts were racked up between 2007 and 2009.


So, you’re probably wondering: how exactly does a person manage to spend 40 grand on tanning in the span of only two years? Is the spray tanning solution filled with flecks of gold? Does the tanning bed harness the power of a small sun, created by scientists specifically for the purpose of giving celebrities a golden glow? Well, not exactly.
The outrageous expenses Lindsay racked up are due to the fact that Tanning Vegas is a mobile salon that would sometimes travel across states whenever Lohan felt she needed to deepen her tan. So if you’ve ever wondered exactly what it is that celebrities do with their boatloads of cash, this is it: they spend roughly the equivalent of your annual salary employing personal tanning assistants.


Lindsay’s people have not yet commented on this case.

I have no sympathy for these people; who is stupid enough to keep extending 'credit' to someone who is in the papers every other week for not paying their bills?? Restaurants, hotels, clothing stores, jewelry shops, luxury car rentals...come on- they deserve to get burned if they are that dumb; it's not like saying they have Lilo as a customer is good for business!

If I had a company I`d want LiLo as a customer. (No joke). Afterall the girl DOES earn money - she is the current face of Phillip Plein, Playboy paid her 1 million and she got more than 200.000$ for the Elisabeth Taylor role. She SHOULD be affluent.

I`d give her credit and then sue her over the money (I think "the guilty one" has to carry the lawyer cost of the one who "was damaged"), which would also give my company free publicity and the media would report FOR FREE that a celeb was a client of mine.

Sounds good to me!
