Wow, this is embarassing for Lindsay...

For the life of me I can't understand why a well-respected company making a serious, hard-hitting documentary about child trafficking would want to associate themselves with Lindsay. As Jezebel points out in that link, it should be about the children being saved but having Lindsay involved means that it is all about her. It is possible to have a celebrity involved in documentary making a positive way- Leonardo diCaprio, Johnny Depp, Lily Tomlin to name a few but these are serious actors with low media exposure (and no desire for Lohan-level exposure). Whereas Lindsay is best known for substance use and a tumultuous personal life. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have Lindsay on board, no matter how good her intentions are, should be fired.
