tToni is out now that they have found a girl, Jac, who is stunningly gorgeos AND a very good model???

Strong words. I'm not familiar with Jac but she must be quite a good model because she doesn't look that impressive. The complete show looked weird all models very pale and like they just woke up.

I found the simplicity always charming but it looks different this season. Anyway I'm glad Hanna Rundlöf made it to Calvin Klein.

there was a whole bunch of new girls and many regulars were missing
it doesn't mean that they're out in the cold just because they didn't walk this particular show
the models in question are already stars anyway, and it's impossible to fit them all in AND make room for new girls
but i must say it's pretty surprising that their current campaign girl wasn't there?!

Jac is certainly the break out face of NY. IMG really needed one of their new girls to make a huge impact.

I think the CK cast was a mess to be honest. In my opinion there were too many new girls which made it all the less impressive for those girls to be there...at least, that's how it feels for me. What makes an A-list model is doing A-list shows and what makes an A-list show is an A-list cast. It's a vicious circle...aside from 5 huge names, several big promisses from last season, there was nothing about this cast that made it interesting. If a show has girls like Natasha, Toni, Raquel, Lily, Jourdan etc etc and then suddenly pops up an Addison or a Jac THEN it makes me feel that it's impressive for them to be cast. As was the case with Michael Kors where Nimue Smit was the only new girl...now that is impressive. Does this make sense?

And that Toni and Anna S weren't there doesn't make any sense as far as I am concerned...

I'm very curious what went on with the CK casting... If the line-up isn't good enough, I can imagine agencies pulling out their top girls, especially if they did the campaign.

This was defenetely planned, it wasn't an accident. I friend of mine asked Jourdan Dunn if she was going to be there and she said not that there were only new faces this time.

Could it be that new faces translates to less dollars spent on the models? A risky gamble for CK but everyone's cutting corners.
