Model Casting F/W 15.16

I didn't know most of the models at Gucci. Hope I'm not the only one.
Some of them really struck me. I'll need to find who they are

Mixed feelings about Gucci's casting. Some interesting new faces but no clear directive, bit of Ashley bit of Hedi. Definitely not happy with the new Gucci preteen vibe, even though Roos Abels is maturing pretty nicely..

I did see some faces I was anticipating to see this season such as Laura Hagested, Liza Ostanina, and few others but the cast was current, maybe too current for Gucci.

I don't know what to say either! I thought nowfashion screwed up a show to another but no, eh, I was really watching Gucci. I only know like 10% of the girls...yeah, "girls", they all looked like teenagers. At a Gucci show. Where has the sexiness been? the femme fatale signature? Terrible!

I just looked at the Gucci menswear show to look at the girls used. They both look like bored librarians. So that's most probably the look they're going for. Amber Anderson, the new Burberry girl would certainly fit the bill although I feel as though she looks more like a soccer mom.

Gucci was incredibly well casted, I love it. You have a good cast when the models fit and sell the collection and the designer's vision, whatever it is, and this one did that perfectly. The hair & makeup was on point, they all looked gorgeous.

I never cared for Gucci's old cast of "sexy models" anyway so good riddance...
