Project Runway Season Four

I thought this challenge was so fun.
I was a bit dissapointed only 1 used actual food though. I guess it just wasn't the smart way to go.
I really found myself rooting for Jillian to do well. I didn't want her to send her model down the runway half naked or falling apart.
It was good for licorice but not a good garment overall, IMO.
I was waiting for the top to bust open!
I think she was in the top 3 for using food alone.
I liked Kevin's much better.

I thought Chris did a great job, as the judges said, editing himself. I hope he does that more often.

Ricky's was the first dress he made with a good fit....
I just can't stand him though!!

I wish they had sent Sweet P home not Elisa. I have never really liked anything of Sweet P's.

^^It reminded me of the same thing, too!:woot: I even liked the way she made her model walk...I don't think I would have liked it as much if she had had her model want regular. I thought it was smart of her to think about the whole image of her design, including the walk.

And you're right...Zac Posen was random...he would have made more sense for an eveningwear challenge or something like that. Scott would have been a much better judge for this challenge.

Great minds think alike B)

The way she made her model walk didn't say Ice Princess to me.
It looked like she was walking like that to avoid the dress falling apart.

Anybody else really like Victoria? I don't think she'll win, but I hope she goes far. I'd love her, Rami, Kevin and Jillian in the top four. Christian, while not bad, is just too annoying. The rest are mediocre.

Before last night I missed 2 episodes in a row but I'm back on board. At this point I think Rami is in a league of his own so I'd want him to win. Jillian is my second and with great reluctance Christian is third.

Elisa is so friggin stubborn but it's worked for her so far, barely. I actually liked her dress because on the back bottom the word "Hershey" reminded me of the "I Love You" on the V&R wedding dress. Who cares if it wasn't festive. Those arm things were a mistake though.

I liked seeing Zac Posen there. He has a whimsy that goes with candy.

I'm okay with Rami winning, but I hate that Kevin was overlooked.

I'm sure they're overlooking him right now so he'll make it further in the competition.

I like him and Rami.

I definitely think this season is the best ever.

I'm really enjoying what Kevin and Rami are coming up with so far.
Didn't really enjoy this week's challenge as it seems sort of last minute and more of a PR thing for Hershey's.

Christian "ohmygawdIwenttoLondon" needs to stop namedropping/location dropping. And dude you're a grown man, try acting like one.

And if I hear him say "fierce," "b*tch," or "serious ugly" one more time...

Let's just say I tune him out when he is on TV.:innocent:

That's what I'm hoping.... I think Kit gets overlooked a lot, too (she did so well in the men's designwear competition, IMO) so I'm hoping they get some attention soon.

Christian is just rediculous, he's not even entertaining anymore and his voice...like chipped nails on a chalkboard.

How deluded and arrogant do you have to be to think that glueing a bunch of candy wrappers onto a dated looking halter dress that doesn't fit properly is at all inspired? He was in no position to judge anybody's garment because out of all of them, and this is a stretch considering the challenge, his was the most "craft project"

Jillian was extremely gutsy, and even though I didn't like the skirt with the top, the top itself was fantastic. All I kept thinking was that top is soooo Mugler power b*tch.

I actually thought Zac was a perfect choice since he inhabits that grey area between female and female impersonator where over the top is never enough.

I miss Mugler:cry:...his womenswear, that is!

On a very side note...remember Chloe Dao's model, Grace, the tall redhead...I was watching this Philip Treacy FW 01 Couture video and she's in it! (she comes up at 02:30)...she looks gorgeous-

Rami is so amazing. I've loved all of his work thus far. He has such a great eye for construction and detailing. While other designers tend to make looks that are amateur, his are polished and professional. I also really like the fact that he chose the redheaded model

OMG @ Ricky crying in the next episode. I'm a total softie wimp but even I don't sob that often. Pull it together man!

i agree. he often makes snide remarks to his models about the other outfits. i think he called Elisa's outfit a "hot mess" last night, which i thought was really rude and immature.

Here is a tidbit from Tim's Take from the Bravo Blogs. I love how honest he is. I really miss his podcasts this season.

Christian, I suspect, will have a polarizing effect on our viewers. I
write this largely out of projection, because I alternate between
wanting to give him a big hug and wanting to give him a sobering slap.
In a manner that evoked the discovery of penicillin, he believed that
the material he chose (hundreds of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup
wrappers), coupled with his design (a mini-dress with a halter and
choker), would ensure his win.

Furthermore, he was "finished" hours before the deadline. When I found
him in the workroom gloating over his achievement and offering spare-
time critiques to his fellow designers, I pulled him aside to suggest
that he consider giving his design some more time and thought. "I
certainly don't think that you're going home (and he won the last
challenge, so he had immunity), but I'm not as confident as you are
that this design is the winner." If looks could really kill, I would
have been a goner.

I loved Zac Posen as a guest judge!
I really loved Kevin's garment, and i wasnt very surprised to who went home

i was sad to see elisa go cause she seems like a genuinely sweet person, but i probably would have cried a river if sweet p left (although her design did suck).
