Project Runway Season Four

^ Thanks. Can't wait!

I hope the next challenge is a bit broader.....
so we can see what the designers would come up with on their own....
without being given the existing material, trends, etc.

but isnt that what the first one was?
I like that they worked this season this way
from broad to less broad
as opposed to the other way around
its easier to weed out the right people
I actually hope this next one is a crazy one
like the recycle episode

agreed. the challenges are becoming increasingly made-for-tv. it seems like some concepts are created purely to make the designers squirm, which i guess is entertaining, but their talents go to waste. i would really like to see what they can do without certain restraints or twists.

then again, reality tv should be taken more lightly..

I can't figure out why, but after seeing the preview for the next episode I keep thinking "Candy".

It's going to be a rediculous material challenge and candy is the medium. They're gonna go to Dylan's Candy Bar in NYC, get their materials and have to construct a garment out of sour patch kids, candy necklaces and rock candy....it's a gut feeling.

I hope I'm right, it seems fun...in my head.

I would love to see Chris work with candy.
Didn't he once make a costume out of lettuce?

Holy S***!!!

I can't believe I was actually right, my gut is never right!!

I'm shocked by who they eliminated, I definitely thought they'd make it to Bryant Park.

Overall though I was extremely underwhelmed. Most of the deisigners used the same 3 fabrics which made their garments look the same. Considering all of the colors you'd find in a candy store, all we got wast a bunch of brown and silver.

I do love the winning look though, it was one of only two that interested me at all.

i thought (hoped) Sweet Pea would go home tonight. it seems like every week she gets by with mediocrity. blah.

the challenge was disappointing. there was little variety in the materials that were used. most of them gravitated towards metallic wrappers, so only a few dresses actually stood out.

did anyone catch the preview for next week's episode? more Ricky sobfests!

I'm sad at who went home. :(

The challenge was fun, but I really only enjoyed Rami's.

It was a pretty good challenge! I'm usually not the biggest fan of the odd material challenges, but this was not terrible.

I'm surprised that they hated Victoryia's....I kind of liked it:ninja:
I liked Christian's a lot...but I just HATE him SO much!
Glad Elise (Elisa?) went home, she was never very good...weird aesthetic.
Glad Rami won, he definitely is the absolute best contestant this season, very mature, sophisticated taste and very talented construction-wise.
Glad Jillian did well, I hope she and Rami go to the top, they're the 2 best ones.:D

^ I liked Victoryia's as well, and I expected Christian's to at least be in the top 3.

I agree with what dior_coutre1245 said & I also like Victoryia's...:blink:damn I wish Christian would have sent me all those Reese's Mini PB Cups:judge: :p

:flower:

i know! there was a huge pile of them in the trashcan and i was like :(

Count me in with Victoryia's dress, it was fun and cute. I hated that corset Jillian did, the fit was killing me. Ugh, Ricky needs to be off my tv quick, he gives off such a gay hustler vibe.

 is right, and he's crying again next week. Instead of Zac Posen being the guess judge, which was so random, they should have gotten Jeremy Scott to judge. This whole cartoony, candy logo design is so him.
I think the reason I was so drawn towards Victoryia's dress was that her presentation reminded my of The Viktor and Rolf Fall 06 collection with the old school couture masks and posing.

^^It reminded me of the same thing, too!:woot: I even liked the way she made her model walk...I don't think I would have liked it as much if she had had her model want regular. I thought it was smart of her to think about the whole image of her design, including the walk.

And you're right...Zac Posen was random...he would have made more sense for an eveningwear challenge or something like that. Scott would have been a much better judge for this challenge.
