i think in general people get grossed out by hair in our food, so why not in our clothing...
but i definitely understood chris more than i ever did when he was describing things. he could easily change it to faux pony hair or something more desirable. the best designers are the one's that are over the top because you can always be toned down by someone else...ie, the business minds behind a company. but he definitely has unique talent.
rami would be able to build a business and i think jillian should really win.
I think she has the personal style and actual talent in understanding what really works and what will really sell and most importantly, what girls her age ( a very large market) will wear RIGHT NOW..
I always thougth she would win from the beginning. Even the way she dresses herself, the proportions and style are always right.

yeah, but I appreciate their point of view. you have to remember the circumstances. it's a tight schedule and have to be able to perform under pressure. but i guess that is how the industry is anyway.
rami's style is definitely a market out there.

Marcia? Remind me who that is again? Sorry, my brain is filled with too many Fall/Winter collections.

All five collections were shown at NY Fashion Week because at the time there were still five competitors left on the show. So technically, two (Chris and Sweet P) were decoys.

But they still got to show, so they didn't really lose, right? And I read somewhere that Sweet P said they even got the same amount of money to work with.

THanks for the answer. karma* It makes sense since I know everyone (me included) looked at the pictures hoping to find the outcome.

And yeah, Marcia was Chris' designated model throughout the show except for when they had guests (the wrestlers, high schoolers, weight losers, etc.) And she's black or biracial or something darker than plain white. She wore the "velvet condom" Chris' last challenge.

I don't wear leather, fur or wear hair extensions. But even if I did, I hate touching other peoples' hair after it has left their body. Would you want to reach into a shower drain and pick up a clump of someone's hair? If not, why in the world would you want to wear it on your body? I find it creepy

I didn't like the way is shined and moved so much on the runway.

That's exactly how I feel! I'll touch it if it's on their body but once it's left the body, I feel queasy.

I think she deserves to win...Christian will be fine. I really feel like Jillian has been more innovative and pushed herself to the limits. Christian still relies on the same look basically...even his collection was pretty predictable...

I think the judges would know that Jillian will be the one who can actually make a real business out of it.
Christian will always be able to get hired, but not matter what, he needs more experience in the industry. It's not as easy as it has been for him.

I still want to know what exactly Christian did at McQueen + Westwood. He's always saying he worked for them, but he never says as what. Jillian has said her exact position title @ RL and others like even Ricky, for instance, have stated specifically what their jobs at certain design houses have been... and they've all been humble about it. Christian mentions McQueen in every episode yet I still don't know what he did there.

That was hilarious! Heidi going "MAKE IT WORK" hahah... Christian's swinging arm.. I love Tim Gunn! People either love or hate Christian but I love him he's so funny.

I miss Chris' laughs already they always make me smile.
