Yeah that silly 16 rule is going to throw a curveball into the predictions as Paris is going to be the one to make or break it. The only locks for me seem to be Georgia and Diana, the rest is up in the air.

I'm going to throw another name into the hat Jourdan Dunn - I love her look, and I think she's MUCH more photogenic and dynamic than say, oh, Chanel Iman. Jourdan has fashion in her, and she's making some big strides, *cough*Marc Jacobs*cough*

On top of the visa situation, I'm also worried about how some of the models are going to handle the 16 y/o rule in Milan. I was really expecting Miuccia in particular to use Elainne, Luize, Kristina V. and some of the other new girls, but I believe they're all under 16.

Its a complicated year to say the least.

But do we really think the 16 y/o rule will be followed? This rule has already been applied in Paris for some time and it's not like we don't see 14-year-olds there...

Elianne is 17, btw.

This rule has already been applied in Paris for some time and it's not like we don't see 14-year-olds there...

I thought the original rule only applied to weekends in Paris?

^Hmm, I thought it was originally meant to be a general rule, but maybe you're right. Either way I doubt it'll be followed in Milan... we'll see I guess.

I never understood that weekend rule, btw, isn't weekends (no school) really when they should be allowed to work?

It's much too early to tell. NY is almost least significant, and always some surprises waiting in Europe.

I'm also curious to see who has Calvin Klein exclusives, they often to do well after that in Paris and Milan. My guesses who will show up at CK are Johanna J and Elianne.

But so far these are my sure bets:

Georgia Frost
Olya Ivanisevic
Diana Moldovan
Alyona Osmanova
Johanna Stickland

I also have a strong feeling about Truus, Johanna J, Elianne (but they haven't even started season yet) and Elsa Sylvan. And if Kasia Struss and Laragh continues like in NY, they could definitely make list too.

Edit 1: I forgot Denisa Dvorakova!! She'll kill in Europe. Sure bet for list.

Edit 2: And Milana!!

Its probably too early to say but my tips go for these girls so far.
Georgia Frost - i would be very surprised no to see her on the list
Diana Moldovan - new img girl must be there
One of superemes girls - maybe Johanna or Alyona???
Olya Ivanisevic in case she will be doing at least so good as last season
I would also say Denisa Dvorakova but i am afraid the wont put her on the list since she is not doing NY shows this season...
Maryna Linchuk could do it this time - she got great last season so it wont be a surprise to see her among top 10 of this season...

Ad the rest will tell later after milan and paris shows...

PS: I have to check who Ali Michael is - i feel ashamed to see that name for the first time.

She is a tfs member who was given a special mention by style.com before the shows started, and so far shes been in over 7 shows opening Alice Roi and 3.1 Philip Lim. B)

Thanks Saracita, I couldn't remember if Elainne was 16 or 17. I still expected to see her or Luize pop up a little more, unless they're being saved for bigger shows.

Li Ya Fan, I'm there with you on the absence of some of the potential stars. I really think that Truus is on exclusive with Prada after her show last year. Johanna Jonsson is probably on exclusive for Calvin or a Paris show...Hell its all a guessing game at this point but you can be sure that having "exclusive" on your resume makes you a much easier pick for this list!

Right now I'm still feeling confident on: Georgia Frost, Diana Moldovan, and Johanna Strickland...but that's about it

I think Suvi might show up on the list again. I'm waiting for Paris and Milan. Hopefully we'll get to see more of Sofi Berelidze and Carolina Pantoliano too. Also rooting for Caroline Demarqui @ Women

Thank you very much for the info. I have checked her theread and i have to say very appealing, young, fresh looking girl with nice eybrows (she looks fabulous at Mizrahi).
