I hate crop tops and this one is so short it gives me literally shivers. Overall it's a rather basic Emma pictured and barely recognizable as Emma, probably catering a younger public? A feminine Emma with long hair is more to my taste.

Oh I actually love this, need to see it in HQ but I think it's great. It's not a shot I would imagine US Vogue picking so I like that they tried something a bit different for them. I also kind of really like the Vote part as well. Even if it's not the most aesthetically pleasing bit of graphic design, it does the job and there's more important things than a magazine cover at this moment in time, so I like that Vogue is doing their bit to encourage voters in such a blatant way.

It's very cute, very Lucie de La Falaise in the 90's.

That picture is so familiar looking.

It's very 90s Meisel meets Liza Minnelli. Not quite sure yet if I love it, but it's always a plus for me when Vogue steps out of their everlasting comfort zone

I'm so sick of this election, and the way it's become impossible to avoid! Will throw a party once its over! So for that reason, i am not into this cover! But mostly; why is she hiding her face? Because its been such a sad affair? Somehow i doubt Wintour has that much humor to pick this shot intentionally?

Either way, that is an ugly sweater, and for me the worst cover in a long while! I will take Kimye over this! Feels like something Glamour would pull off, lefts lift it!!!

Good thing for Emma is that the previous issues she covered were one of the worst sellers of the year, so if this bombs Anna has her back, and will use her again!

I love the whimsy, I´m sure that it will look better in HQ and IRL.
The layout works fantastically :)

What da OTE?
I actually love the image, but the poor design almost ruins it.
All I can see is the OTE, which took me some time to figure out.
The V and OTE should be the same color so it's clearer.

Reminds me of Twiggy, but also of Lena Dunham for Bazaar.
I have to add, I never like when the face of a cover model is concealed.

Wonder if Sims shot this!! Looks like his kind of drab covers!! Jansson went as quick as he arrived, when it comes to shooting their covers!

It seems that they're trying to make her look younger than she is. And "teen anxiety"? No.

I think this is a fantastic cover!... until I noticed how abbreviated the sweater is. Cover should have been a closer crop. She looks to be in phenomenal shape but the abundance of skin is disruptive in the half of the cover. This is no protest against showing skin lol, it just throws the cover here, kind of unnecessary in a way. But that said, this is the best I have seen Emma on a cover. Love the short hair as well.

I do agree that the "Vote" should have been the same color for better emphasis even thought I get that they are going for the cliche red, white, and blue.

I like how striking it is, and that they've shaken up their cover formula for one month, at least.

And maybe it's the scan, but those cold eyes, I don't want them staring at me, it's like the character of an evil teenager that's done something naughty with knives, and is pretending to care now they've been caught out.

It's all very random, like several different stories spliced together as one editorial. Film star on set, girl working a service job, studio fashion shot, gothic glamour.

I do like the cover but the image in the dark wig and makeup, I would have loved to see that styling on the cover

I think that the editorial makes sense in a very cliche way: the aspiring actress working in food service industry, goes to auditions until she gets the part yada yada yada
