Truth be told, Joel Edgerton's edit is indeed beautifully captured, but what was the memo here? Cowboy and his Spanish fling, or a modern day Pocahontas and John Smith (which is in theory the same thing, but, oh well)? And why not a model instead of her? Imaan H or even Mica would have been better. This is Vogue, not Vanity Fair!

I think it's great that Hartzel cut her hair for vogue. too bad emma ston'e pixie cut on the cover of vogue seems to be a wig.

I would have LOVED to see Ruth cover this issue. I'm very aware she's not a Household name like Emma is, but she looks absolutely stunning in her editorial and I would be good to see Vogue US cover some upcoming talents.
