The thing is that I don't think Candice or Rosie will just be "new faces" by the time the next show comes around. Candice, at least. I think they'll actually be Angels so it's possible, but I think next year's show will be all about Adriana for several reasons and not just the fact that it'll be her comeback and the fact that there was no mention of her in this year's show. It's going to be either about her or Heidi, but something has me thinking that Heidi is leaving before the show next year which would be kind of a surprise because you know when she goes she wants to go out with a bang so it's possible that maybe we'll get one more year of the Heidi show and they'll give her the bra too though I am pretty sure her contract is up for renewal (or not) before the show next year. I think they'll probably have a separate media event/party for her before then.

And I know you're probably thinking "Well, they didn't give the bra to Tyra in the 2005 show when she left.", but this is Heidi. We know what she is capable of. If by some chance she doesn't get it next year (or Adriana), I would be really surprised. But I do think Doutzen and Miranda (Doutzen way more than Miranda) have a chance to if either of them are still Angels by then.

I don't think a non-Angel has ever opened a show before? I like Maryna, but I doubt VS would make her an Angel. I don't think VS plans to make any other girls other than the "new faces" Angels next year.

Karolina opened the show before she was an angel. I believe it was 2002

Yeah, that's what I thought, but that was years ago and I don't see it happening again.

It was 2001, but the show has changed so dramatically then, (they have a whole new and different team working on the show since then) and she had done so much work for them since then. i wouldn't count on it at all. According to a few people, VS has been working very hard on Adriana's comeback next year, and in my gut I just get the feeling that she'll get that fantasy bra. Because honestly, when her daughter was born in VS's dream come true, because it's right around the show...and it brings even more questions and more press to her. I don't think Heidi will get the fantasy bra, simply because she basically only works for them, until someone is famous enough to take her spot (which they've been training Adriana for) and Heidi is Heidi, she doesn't need the bra to take out. So I'd say Adriana most likely, because of her return, her big comeback, and the fact she gets a huge response from the public, plus she's one of the exes favorite girls, will earn her that bra. I don't think Ale's 10 year will really mean anything, besides Heidi it didn't mean anything to Adriana at all. So I don't see them doing anything.
If Adriana wouldn't get it (and Doutzen and Miranda are still contracted, which I doubt) I can see Doutzen getting it. I don't see Candice or Rosie getting it strictly because they don't give the fantasy bra to a new girl...the only exception was Selita in 2007, and the ONLY reason she got that was because of the press she was pulling in due to her relationship with Nick Cannon.

Selita wasn't really a new girl though. She had been with them as an Angel since 2005, right? At least I remember that being her and Izabel's first show. Actually, I think she became an Angel in 2006. But I think you're trying to say that they wouldn't give it to a first year Angel.

Yea she signed in early 06 with Izabel, and esp in the presence of the other angels she was the newbie. But yea, basically that's what I was saying...they aren't going to give it to a new Angel when they want the fantasy bra to stick out and not get over shown by the other top veteran angels. Basically what gets you the fantasy bra is being a veteran, or one of the company's main faces or being the company's favorite. Part of me thinks Miranda won't get it now that I think about it. She's gained a lot of press for being with Orlando, and that's basically her only press and here in the US she's kind of a nobody. I feel like with all the press she gained this year, and last year with him, she would have worn it already...since she hasn't..it makes me think she's a long way off from getting it.

So who does everyone think will get the fantasy bra next year? I'm guessing either Adriana (part of her huge comeback their planning) or Doutzen if she's still around. Honestly those are the only two IMO that are in the running, taking into account what Monica Mitro's office said and what VS has done in the past. I use to be for Ale wearing it but she just can't open a show, so I don't thing she'd present the bra well at all.

Are you joking, CC? Of course Alessandra is wearing it next year. It's her 10 year anniversary with VS next year so she'll be wearing it. Lima will open the show but Ambrosio will wear the F.B. We already know how she's going to present it.

- Alessandra will walk out opening a segment with her hands on her hips and her lips pursed.
- She'll then start waving and ponting
- Then she'll blow a kiss or two
- Point to the F.B and wink
- Open her mouth wide
- Then walk off the runway waving and pointing.

In terms of Adriana's walk, it ain't killer but she has presence. Same with Miranda. She doesn't have a killer walk but she has presebce, not as much as Lima but she still has presence. Doutzy is just Doutzy.

I just watched the full show, not only the runway parts. At one point, I was almost saying: "Who will be America's Next Top Model?"
Tyra must be proud, she left VS, and now VS is just copying her show.

At the same time I don't think they're going to give it to Heidi, because everyone knows and their mother does that she doesn't have the body for it anymore..and she's "bigger" than the fantasy bra. Another thing is, if she promotes the fantasy bra, she's got Project Runway, her famous husband and etc etc to promote, and while one or two things is good, the fantasy bra being overshadowed is not. So between her body not being in shape enough, I don't see it happening. If she was going to get the bra again I think she would have gotten it again by now considering she never went more than 2 years without getting it.

I think our most honest front-runners are Adriana and Doutzen. I really don't think their is anyone else at all.

One thing I'm hoping is, and it should be suggested. I might when I email them next, is that the bras should go back to the way they were in 2003 and before, made purely of gems. Then they did those wire like ones, that to me didn't even look like fantasy bras, and no their built on the bras and they are just aren't as outstanding. I'd personally LOVE to see a fantasy bra (esp with Dri's coloring for example) in like Blue Topaz, or Emeralds...something they've never done before.

I suggest next year they could get Gisele, KK, Tyra, Heidi, Selita, Marisa back plus aother MOST favorite angel to wear all the Fantasy Bra from past year and make it into 1 segment!! And it gonna be the MOST expensive segment !!

I actually liked the wire ones with no base. I think they need a bra that doesn't look like an actual bra to be able to stand out.

Did anyone notice that in the Christmas commercial that aired during the show, Rosie and Candice wore the same leopard bra and robe combination AND looked identical? I think Candice needs to dye her hair more platinum, as in the 2008 show, if she wants to stand out against Rosie.

Candice is quickly outshining Miranda in my eyes, though. Candice is both cute AND sexy.
