Keeping Up With Lindsay #2 (please put all Lohan news here)

I have this terrible feeling something is going to happen to her...I'm actually glad to see Sam around- Lindsay needs every friend she can get right now...

Dina doesnt have any sense of reality herself, so she cant really help her daughter realize that theres no way of getting out of it this time.

the whole family seems to live in this weird little world where they think everything they do shouldnt have real people consequences.

the lohans will always be innocent in their little world, no matter what they do.
and its sad to see someone living like that.

But on the Lindsay side, it's a whole other story. Let's just say that even Dina and Lindsay decided Goldberg was ... how do we say nicely ... a little eccentric.

THIS is what DuhLo considers 'eccentric'?

"My impression of Lindsay is that she's a fragile lost child – a sleeping beauty with her head in the sand. I found her not fully forewarned of the consequence of her actions,"

"I'm concerned that she's not disciplined or tethered enough to the reality of adult consequences," he says. "She doesn't seem to have the awareness of what's going to befall her."

"they didn't seem to understand the urgency and gravity of the situation."

Sounds dead on point to me and just about what almost everyone else is saying. Maybe the Woe-Is-Me-Hans consider reality a little too eccentric for them.

More from Mother of The Year

Best quotes (i.e. every sentence):
"Right now my daughter is clean and sober"

"But I also raised [my kids] to be normal. So, going to a club and doing something stupid -- I'm not saying it's normal, but it happens a lot"

"this child has paid her dues. She really has overly done what she's supposed to do."

"she got into this business by kind of a lark...she was with me, I was on a shoot, and they just threw her in and she loved it and whatever the rest is history"

"There are people who support us. The Hollywood community has be so amazing to us - people of caliber that I don't wanna mention"

"I could cry right now...We're just a little family from Long Island"

"We need a lot of prayers and people to leave her alone"

I'm surprised that a mother uses terms like "this child" I know she refers to Lindsay as her daughter but I'm always taken aback by her usage of "this little girl" "this child"

"she got into this business by kind of a lark...she was with me, I was on a shoot, and they just threw her in and she loved it and whatever the rest is history"

What- Dina was a model now, too?? We'll add that to her resume of being a Rockette, Broadway and Soap Opera star!!

"There are people who support us. The Hollywood community has be so amazing to us - people of caliber that I don't wanna mention"

Ah- go ahead...mention them...so many, hard to remember them all, right?

"I could cry right now...We're just a little family from Long Island"

Poor, hard working suburban family- this is a sin...Damn you- Fudgie the Whale!!! (This is no joke- the Lohan's biggest enemy has a chain saw!! He is the Godfather of Ice Cream Cake Whales!!) :o

Here's something about her new laywer Robert Shapiro

After two decades of success, Shapiro published some of his insights for other lawyers. In February 1993 he wrote an essay called "Using the Media to Your Advantage," which was published by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. The essay's message is that big cases are tried as much in the media as in court, and usually to the prosecution's advantage. Prosecutors know how to play to reporters, and defense attorneys usually do not. Shapiro contends that media headlines proclaiming an arrest destroy the presumption of innocence and instead create an assumption of guilt. Shapiro believes that combating the public mind-set that "if the press said it, it must be true," is the defense attorney's most challenging task. He advises defense lawyers to get to know reporters, to look into the camera, and to speak in sound bites, so that the defense's position also finds its way into news reports.

Shapiro's first well-known case was his defense of Linda Lovelace, an adult film star charged with a c****** offense in 1975. Shapiro got the charges dismissed.

You forgot she was one of the foremost ballerinas in the USA! Why are you trying to destroy her hard earned reputation? Just leave the Lohans alone!
Dina Lohan, who studied with the American Ballet Theater under Mikhail Baryshnikov
nytimes

So that proves it

^ He was part of OJ Simpson's dream team, wasn't he? Along with Robert Kardashian- whose daughter Kim was seen bringing Chinese food to Lindsay after the hearing last week...all a total coincidence, I'm sure...:innocent: BTW- he may well be the most expensive lawyer in LA- there is no way the Lohans are paying his fees....

^ Oh yes, ballet...I'll never forget when she and Jerome Robbins choreographed West Side Story- she was brilliant!!

^Yeah E! News (who are usually reliable but always late with the news) said the Lohans wanted him but couldn't afford him.

Shawn Chapman Holley also defended OJ Simpson.

i also think that Dina is making things worse by refering to Lindsay as a child.

^ And I'm quite sure Dina was part of OJs defense team, too.... I believe that was the same year she won the Women's Singles Title at Wimbledon....

THIS b*tch: White Oprah At In-N-Out

whiteoprahinnout1.jpg

As you can tell from the giant party countdown clock hanging over your cubicle, Lindsay Lohan is just a few days away from her greatest role yet: jail b*tch. So since LiLo will be out of commission for a few days (or weeks), someone has to keep the paparazzi industry going by posing like a complete dick hole in the passenger seat of a car. And that someone is going to be White Oprah! White Oprah will make sure that the Lohan family face stays on top as the leading famewhores on the stroll!

White Oprah assumed her duties last night at an In-N-Out in Hollywood. Yes, White Oprah at In-N-Out! Just soap up a burger patty with the blood from my bleeding heart and serve it to White Oprah RAW! This hurts more than the time In-N-Out University rejected my admission application.

Now, In-N-Out occasionally lets me through their front door, so I realize that they aren't the pickiest fast food wh*re in the game, but WHITE OPRAH! That is LOW(han)!

In-N-Out just proved to me that they will spread their animal sauce on the tongue of any john who slips a ten dollar bill into their red and white garter belt! And I better not find out that White Oprah has a limited-edition In-N-Out VIP black card (with gold palm trees on it) in her possession! If she does, In-N-Out will be DEAD to me! I will cuddle up with that sl*t Wendy instead!

No, I don't mean that. INO just needs to lie to me if White Oprah is one of their VIP customers. Lie to me, INO, I promise I"ll believe...liiiiiie to me...but pleeeeeeaaaaseeee don't.... FUC*! Do you see what seeing White Oprah at INO is doing to me? It's got me quoting Sheryl fuc*ing Crow!

Here's a promotional shot for her upcoming cameo in Machete. The Academy will no doubt be impressed by the versatility she shows going from this movie (in which she plays an amateur p*rn star) to playing Linda Lovelace (a prostitute turned p*rn star)

^ Smith & Wesson Model 27...It's like I always say- If it's good enough for Dirty Harry- it's good enough for Dirty Lindsay...

Lindsay Lohan may soon be on her way to prison, but her legal woes are turning into her biggest payday in years. Bids for the troubled starlet's pre- and post-prison interview are now coming in at over $500,000.
Major TV networks -- which technically don't pay for interviews but often get around that by paying for pictures -- are putting in bids by joining forces with weekly magazines to score the big jailhouse chat.
Meanwhile, an increasingly desperate Lohan was close to signing lawyer Robert Shapiro, who defended OJ Simpson in his murder trial, in a bid to overturn her 90-day sentence, which is to start July 20.

A source told Page Six, "The irony is Lindsay is in demand. The bidding is over $500,000 for the rights to the pre-jail interview, the prison diary and the first chat when she is released.
"But Lindsay is still convinced she'll get a reduced term -- even if she has to go to rehab afterwards for longer. She has spoken to a number of lawyers over the weekend. She's even seeing a psychic for guidance."
On Saturday, Lohan met with Chicago-based lawyer Stuart V. Goldberg, who told us, "Her life is a perfect storm. I think she is a wounded child. She is very fractured. She is overwhelmed. She doesn't seem to have full awareness of what's going to befall her. No client recognizes the gravity of the situation until they hear those bars close. You have to numb yourself to exist under the gaze of 3 billion eyes every day."
Goldberg said he advised Lohan to move out of Los Angeles, "away from bad company, and to somewhere like New York or Chicago, where she'd have a better chance at complying with her probation."
But he said, "I feel she would be better served by a local attorney, and I think she'll go with Robert Shapiro." Shapiro's office did not return calls last night. Mike Heller, who is negotiating some media offers for Lohan, told us there was "huge interest" but declined to comment further.
