Although Lindsay Lohan's mom Dina has never fully admitted that her daughter had gone off the rails, Dina on Tuesday morning was overheard saying that Lindsay is "back on track."

Dina stopped at the Beauty Bar presented by The Daily at Townhouse Spa in New York and received a complimentary massage at the Fashion Week event. "Dina said that she was so relieved to be getting a massage, that it was releasing all her leftover stress," said a witness. "But she also said she was glad that the kids are back in school and Lindsay is back on track."
The Beauty Bar visit coincided with Dina's 48th birthday -- she was also overhead saying that Lindsay's parole would not allow for her to be in New York to celebrate, but she came to New York briefly last week to celebrate early.

The number one indicator of getting back into trouble is being with your old crowd at the very places where the trouble began- and she was out in the bars with her gang like the day she was released!! "Trying hard" does not include ignoring the single most important first step to change...She just does not get it.... it borders on hopeless...
BTW- where does this leave the Linda Lovelace epic? Is Taylor Momsen free to step into the role?? These things are what keep me awake at night....

Actually, the scariest thing in all of this is that Michael Lohan keeps making sensible statements about the whole situation. It's scary how right he's been about everything.

The trouble is she's had very good professional help, many times..much more than most people would ever have access to; she just isn't listening...

BTW- Just once wouldn't it be nice to hear Dina say "Gee, maybe I was mistaken- the girl really does have a problem..." But I guess that would take a level of honesty and self awareness that just isn't there...

It's like they just skip over any sort of disappointment and go straight to forgiveness...that's not healthy.
Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if Ali is already like Lindsay and has the presence of mind to do it a little more privately.

but because she isn't as famous as Linds, we don't see it that much.
only when she's with Lindsay.

The trouble is she's had very good professional help, many times..much more than most people would ever have access to; she just isn't listening...

and the very good professional "help" said she didn't have a problem and sent her on her way.
so in reality, she hasnt had good help yet.
and if Lindsay isn't willing to help herself, then she isn't ever going to get better.
her career has been dead for years, she's obviously not willing to help herself to get it back on track, and her family is completely delusional.
she really needs to get out of LA and get away from the people who are around her doing this stuff.
someone needs to do what Jamie Spears did with Britney. cause I mean look at Brit now, she's happy and healthy since her dad took control of everything.
but that someone for Lindsay needs to be someone other then her crazy family.
