Judge to Lindsay Lohan - No Alcohol, No Drugs
Originally posted 48 minutes ago by TMZ Staff
Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to refrain from drinking or doing drugs ... and if she dares to try she could end up behind bars.

Judge Marsha Revel laid down the law during a hearing this AM in Beverly Hills court. Judge Revel told Lindsay in order to stay free on bail, she cannot drink alcohol, she must wear a SCRAM device and she must submit to random drug testing.

Lindsay must begin wearing the SCRAM bracelet within 24 hours.

Lindsay must also attend all scheduled alcohol ed classes at least once a week.

Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, began to object to the conditions, but when the judge said she would state out loud all the reasons why the conditions were appropriate -- Holley backed off and accepted the conditions.

And the judge indicated Lindsay must stay in the L.A. area -- which will get in the way of shooting a movie in Texas. The judge basically said, tough luck.

Mind you ... the conditions the judge imposed must be met in order for Lindsay to remain free on bail. The judge is also scheduling a hearing to determine if Lindsay has violated her probation -- the date for the hearing is July 6.

If the judge decides Lindsay violated her probation by not attending her alcohol ed program as required ... she could be jailed for 180 days.

^ I had to laugh, though- she had her demure white blouse about half unbuttoned...Umm, I don't think the judge was swayed by your charms, Linds...

Once again, court fails to do it's job. :o

At some point, there will be consequences ..... and some of the blame will lie at the feet of that judge.

Plus...

I guess things are different in LaLa land, but where I'm from this:

Holley [Lohan's attorney] also pointed out that Lohan's uncle died earlier this month as a reason that she had missed alcohol education classes. The judge asked if she went to the funeral, and Holley admitted she did not.

... would have resulted in contempt. Her attorney effectively just lied to the judge.

^ Yes, she is way too understanding...I myself have gotten much worse for (very excessive) speeding!!

^ But you were on the way to a movie set and some fans asked to take your pic and then 'the black kid' stole your car and sped away. It was all a set up, right? ^_^

I hope you had empty pockets, not like Lindsay :innocent:

I would have buttoned up my blouse for court

New bail conditions for Lindsay Lohan

Actress Lindsay Lohan, in sunglasses, arrives for a court hearing where the judge imposed new bail conditions.

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge on Monday outlined new bail conditions for Lindsay Lohan at a hearing, including a bracelet to detect alcohol, a ban on drinking and random weekly d*** testing.
Lohan must also attend all of her alcohol classes as scheduled, unless the class interferes with her random drug tests, Judge Marsha Revel said.
Lohan's attorney said she is filming scenes for a movie in Texas, but Revel insisted, "It's going to be drug testing here," meaning in California.
Lohan's attorney, after conferring with her client, said she would accept the conditions.
Prosecutor Danette Meyers asked for proof that Lohan had a ticket to fly back to the United States in time for last week's hearing. Defense attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said she has the proof and will show it to the court.
A formal probation violation hearing for Lohan was scheduled for July 6.
Holley told Revel that Lohan missed her alcohol counseling session last week because her uncle died.
"Did she go to the funeral?" Revel asked.
"She did not," Holley answered.

This could be the ticking time bomb until July 6th- if she told her lawyer that, which she no doubt has, and there is none, that could tip the scales against her...That is, if you are of the opinion that she will ever get punished for anything...

Oh, Look Who Actually Showed Up To Court Today

Dressed like a rest stop prostitute turned middle-aged office temp who is always asking you for cigarettes and never washes her hands after she pisses, Lindsay Lohan graciously showed up to court in Beverly Hills today to get reamed by Judge Marsha Revel. Don't worry, Judge Marsha duct-taped a dental dam over her mouth before she gave it to LiLo.

As expected, Judge Marsha ordered LiLo to wear a SCRAM anklet and told her that she must stay away from booze and drugs. LiLo will have to undergo random drug testing once a week and she also must continue to attend alcohol education classes. If she fuc*s up, she will be thrown in jail before she can snort up the last line.

LiLo's lawyer also tried to be slick by asking the judge if she can remove the SCRAM anklet while "working." Her lawyer said she's due to begin shooting a movie in Texas, and the anklet might get in the way. Judge Marsha shut that request down.

LiLo must start wearing the SCRAM anklet within 24 hours, so if you're in the L.A. area you better hope that you stocked up on the sweet nectar because there's about to be a drought! b*tch went straight from court to the nearest economy-sized bottle of vodka.

And oh, how I wish a SCRAM anklet on LiLo's ankle. Seriously, that SCRAM anklet is going to stay drunk, high and hollerin'. So don't be surprised if you see Pete Doherty curled around LiLo's ankle.

I LOVE that last picture, she looks like she's thinking about tealing the lawyers earrings. "Should I do it, I could blame it on my dad afterwards".

Btw does the Halle Berry-esque lawyer know she's working for free?

^ I'm quite sure getting her name around is all the payment she will receive...

E! Online had this little tidbit...This girl is very fortunate to have this judge- it could easily be a very ugly situation with a different judge presiding...

In addition to requesting—perhaps in hopes of getting some extra credit—that Lohan be allowed to attend daily alcohol-ed classes rather than just weekly, Holley attempted to weasel her client out of the need for the SCRAM device. Her excuses? They were no stolen-passport, but not too shabby nonetheless:
"Ms. Lohan has a number of upcoming photo shoots as well as filming a movie in Texas…the SCRAM bracelet would interfere," she said.
As an alternate suggestion, she offered up to the court the possibility that Lohan instead undergo random d**g and alcohol testing.
No dice.
Revel said that not only would Lohan not be allowed to escape the firm grasp of the SCRAM device, but she would have to submit to the d**g testing in Los Angeles—meaning she would either have to postpone or bow out of her Texas gig.
"She needs to submit to random d**g testing here, not in Texas," Revel said. "I'm afraid she's going to have to delay that for now."
If she was in Texas and was called to L.A. to undergo testing, "it's not random," Revel explained. "It's going to be d**g testing here."
Courtroom chatter briefly breaked after Revel asked if Lohan accepted the terms of her bail. If they were to formally object, Revel would go on record with her justification of the harshness—a record that she said would take roughly 30 minutes to get through. That's a lot of skeletons.
Wisely, after conferencing with Holley, she agreed to the terms.

OMG- this just hit me!! What will happen to this movie now!!? You know, the borderline p*rn one with no financing and a producer who even the other producers never heard of!! Is there no justice!! Is nothing sacred in this country anymore!!? This is tragic...!

...she was told that random d**g tests will be administered on a weekly basis in L.A. -- jeopardizing her participation in the upcoming film "Inferno" in Texas.
"She is going to have to delay that for now," said Judge Marsha N. Revel. "The d**g testing is going to be here."
