Lindsay Lohan's Dad: I'm Disgusted She's Playing a p*rn Star

Lindsay Lohan is set to play "Deep Throat" adult film star Linda Lovelace in an upcoming biopic - and her estranged father Michael is disgusted.
"Oh, I don't even want to go there!" he told UsMagazine.com Friday at the Hassle at the Castle Charity Boxing Event in NYC.

Asked if he thinks the move will hurt her career, he snapped, "What do you think? Come on! Seriously - why? She did Parent Trap, Confessions [of a Teenage Drama Queen], Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just My Luck and Herbie. And you know what? Georgia Rule was a fantastic movie. People don't give her credit for it, but that was one of her best acting jobs. But I mean, she started with Parent Trap and now this? Why? Who makes these decisions? If I was there, it would never happen, believe me. There's no way to resurrect your career after that. So many people have come to me with offers for Lindsay for great family-style films, general audience kind of releases, but you know ... whatever."


Michael and Lindsay, 23, have been publicly feuding for some time. He claims she is abusing drugs again and needs to go to rehab. She strongly denies his allegations.
"The girl is such an amazing, talented, gifted and loving person," he told Us of his daughter. "She's been consumed by the people, the lifestyle, but you know what? Don't give up hope. I am telling you now, if she gets the help that she needs, she is going to be right back on top, just like Robert Downey Jr."

^ Well- do you know Al's Tavern on Northern Blvd? Well, there was this guy in there the other night, OK? and he approached Michael and bought him a Johnnie Black, OK? And he said he knew people who could get Lindsay a multi-picture deal with this friend of his!! (And he only wants 40% of the gross, up front of course..) And he's, like, really well connected, you follow? So it's, like a done deal- no problem! So, Michael should be running things- capice?? These Hollywood people- they're full of ****; didn't anyone see Get Shorty? The New York guys will straighten Lindsay out, so it's all set-forget'a bout it!! B)

Yes she was extremely talented as he has said and honestly, if she had stayed clean and had a better image, her playing linda would have not been so much of an issue. it wouldve prob gotten a few eyebrows raised up like when sienna chose to play edie but i dont think 'disgust' would have been the word used.

ok shes an adult etc and should know better than to publicly slash her father (my ex-father taunts!) but he is her FATHER.. why is he being such a jerk?
its parents who protect their kids. even silence can mean the greatest things.

God these people!

E*TRADE Files Motion to Dismiss Lohan Lawsuit

Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit against E*TRADE is bogus ... so says the financial services company -- and it wants the case dismissed, stat.

Lohan filed a lawsuit back in March ... claiming E*TRADE sullied her good name by characterizing a baby named Lindsay as a "milkaholic" in its Super Bowl ad.

TMZ has learned E*TRADE filed a motion to dismiss the case. In the motion, E*TRADE calls Lindsay's claims "meritless."

The parties are due back in court next month. LIndsay is due back in court May 20 in her DUI probation case. What happens in May could affect what happens in June. Just sayin' ...

Farou7a i do agree with about her father but as much as i joke about this movie i have to be honest that to me, it's not actually about the subject itself..i really don't know that much about Linda's life, of course we are talking about the girl who starred in the most famous p*rno but i don't think that's the point... i'm concerned about HOW the character will be portrayed,on what aspect of her life are they gonna be focused etc..and especially what i feel is that Lindsay,for all the talent that she can have, is not percieved as a talented actress..so they're not saying "oh this is a challenging movie with a very intense role..maybe in this charcter Lindsay Lohan might deliver the best performance of her life.."...ermmm...not at all...they're thinking "ok the movie is gonna be cheesy and dirty..and we might even recreate that famous scene of Deep Throat...so who could be so desperate/stupid to accept?!?oh yes Lindsay Lohan"
i only hope for her and her career that the result won't be the same of the video for the Muse photoshoot..where she was looking like some poor girl they were taking advantage of...because really at that point even Playboy will not have her on the cover!

but if its about lindas life otherwise, i dont see the big deal. the woman went through a LOT!

LiLo's parents love the attention they are getting from the press too.
it disgusts me to see that THAT is what the main frame of their concentration is on.
had there been more discipline, LiLo would listen if her parents spoke with any authority as being her parents, they have a right to.
i.e. - go to rehab & get cleaned up
