^ You know, part of the sad stupidity of this entire soap opera is that Lilo could have pretty much have done exactly the same things she has done without any problems if she didn't insist on doing them out in clubs and getting behind the wheel!! Maybe it's some sort of deep seated death wish or something...Probably half the young "stars" (former stars?? ) in Hollywood are exactly like she is, but she seems to insist on having witnesses, cell phone cameras, police and paparazzi around her every night- so who is really to blame for her getting seen and ultimately caught??

Lindsay Lohan: 'I'm Of Sound Mind, and I Didn't Do It'!

Lindsay Lohan is fighting back at a company that sued her for allegedly stealing spray tan secrets, and she insists two things -- she's of sound mind, and she's not a spray tan thief.

Lindsay's lawyers filed a motion -- obtained by TMZ -- to dismiss a lawsuit filed by White Wave International Labs. According to the federal suit, White Wave claimed a company called Lorit stole its "secret formula' for a spray tanning product. Lindsay, who was a spokesperson for Lorit, was also named as a defendant in the suit filed in a Tampa, Florida federal court.

In her motion to dismiss, Lindsay submitted a declaration in which she says, "Although I have been a spokesperson for Lorit, LLC, and its Sevin Nyne product, I had no involvement in where or how the Sevin Nyne product is marketed and sold or in the marketing strategy for the product."

Lindsay's lawyers also want the case dismissed on grounds the Florida court has no jurisdiction over LiLo. In her declaration, Lindsay says, "Although I occasionally visit Florida for pleasure, I have never had any acting jobs in Florida ... "

Lindsay also says, "I am of sound mind." Discuss amongst yourselves.

So she's being sued for stealing the formula for her spray tan product...and her parents want control of her finances, but she (as usual) has no problems...

...while Britney was declared unfit to manage her affairs when her dad was handed the keys to the kingdom back in 2008, Lindsay has recently attested to being of "sound mind."
The part-time clothing and accessories designer stated that she was mentally sound in a signed declaration dated Sept. 23 and filed in a Florida court in response to a lawsuit accusing her of ripping off the secret recipe for her Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist.
According to Marcia S. Cohen, attorney for plaintiff White Wave International Labs, Lohan is trying to distance herself from the actual formulation of the spray-tan product.
She "is now claiming that she had no involvement in the creation of the formula for the Sevin Nyne product, but the Sephora website said that she and [codefendant] Lorit Simon 'worked together to make a luxurious tanning mist,'" Cohen tells E! News.
Also, Cohen says, the Sevin Nyne press release announcing the product hailed it as being "co-owned and co-developed" by Lohan.
Well, at least distancing oneself from a civil lawsuit does indeed seem like something someone "of sound mind" would want to do...

Lindsay Lohan’s professional life seems to be in serious trouble as a result of her tumultuous personal life, with some experts predicting it may take as long as ten years for her career to recover.
But Pop Tarts has learned exclusively that a new film production company is still considering hiring the troubled actress to star in an upcoming movie “Escaping the Game.”
Lohan apparently “expressed great interest” in the role months ago, but plans to move forward fell to the wayside when she was sent to jail in June for violating the terms of her 2007 DUI probation.
“From the title alone you can only imagine that this film is right up her alley,” the project’s writer/producer Nathan Folks told Pop Tarts exclusively. "We believe that Lindsay is perfect for the role, and because of her experience as a tormented starlet, she is ideal to play the role in this very high concept story. She has what it takes to pull it off.”
We’re told Lohan was “very interested” in the role, which would involve her channeling an Angelina Jolie-like character from “Salt” – a sexy ex-CIA agent stranded on a star-studded island, helping stars like herself escape the “game” of a crazy Hollywood living.

Her team have found a new excuse. All her problems were caused because she has "a disrupted sleeping pattern".

It’s the latest statement from Lohan who is attempting to undergo an image makeover, before a critical October 22 court hearing that could end with her sent back to jail for 30 days for flunking a drug test.

According to our source, Lohan is “tired of being the party girl” and turned to the self-help book for guidance to deal with a “terrible” and disrupted sleeping pattern.

"Lindsay hopes to use this book to help restructure her sleeping patterns so she can function better,” said the insider. “She has been shooting films into the wee hours of the morning since she was 11 or 12 years old and then sleeping in trailers while on the set.

"She never established a normal sleeping pattern."

Yes indeed- work related, pure and simple! She has been working since she was 11 years old- not counting the last three years when she has had no problem sleeping- in cars, toilet stalls and underneath tables in nightclubs, strangers beds and so on...

So what she's in a club, she's young it's normal - these are her college years, she is there for business meetings and like other hard workers sometimes she will sleep over night in the office...sometimes with co-workers she is "in talks" with. If more Americans were collapsing from exhaustion like her then maybe the economy would start picking up.
