I usually don't like Prada...but I dolove Comme Des Garcons.

Considering this collection from Prada is jam-packed with refrences from Comme's 1994 collection (16 years ago!!)....it's hard not to like the collection.

This feels very very Prada Sport / Linea Rossa to me. The choice of fabrics, the denim, the very youthful and non-high-fashion aesthetic mixed with with sporty aesthetic all remind me of the more affordable Prada lines. Where is the luxe?

Last year was much better in terms of Menswear collections for Prada. This year, I have been disappointed with all of the Prada collections Miuccia has designed, womenswear included.

I find it very ironic that most people who claim they don't like Comme Des Garcons....are usually the same people who can't avoid Comme's influence from years-past.

I definitely agree w/you Mutterlein...it's very derivative of CDG.

Most likely because....the influence and impact upon fashion, throughout the years from CDG has always been so strong...it's practicly, unavoidable.

I have to admit, not my favorite Prada menswear collection, some of the pieces are nice (like the denim pieces, aswell as some of the shorts and footwear) I still think that S/S 2009 was by far my favorite of the Prada Menswear till this day.
