Project Runway Season Four

It's ironic that Christian criticized the originality of the designs because if I see him make one more puffy jacket and skinny jeans ensemble, I'll barf! The fact that judges loved his look shows how ridiculous they are this season. That jacket was atrocious IMO.

However, I agree with the final decision. Good riddance!

i love how Jillian kept calling out Victorya's design as if a denim jacket is an original idea. who is she to talk anyway? her outfit was basically a lazier, uglier denim interpretation of the trench she made on the previous episode. same collar and silhouette.

i'm indifferent towards the elimination. there are a couple others i would have rather seen go first, though.

Justice is served

But I mainly feel this way because of how Victorya and Ricky interacted when they were together for the team challenge :innocent:

Also This!!

I think other people deserved to go before the person that was eliminated tonight

and tonight's challenge was the worst EVER! I really disliked all of the outfits

^Really? I actually loved a lot of them...especially Christian's "sleeve" jeans (But not his jacket) to Rami's zipper-outline dress. It felt like the designers were generally doing well, too

I thought it was weird that the eliminated person's past winning challenges were not taken into account. There were other people who should have gone first, especially tonight's winner, but this challenge was boring for me.

im just not a fan of jeans unless they are pant form

i thought sweet P's was interesting, and thought Christian was going to win. I just love challenges when the designers use such different fabrics and colors

Yay! Finally an outcome I agree with. As far as really working within the 501 concept, Ricky's dress was really represented the best this week. As much criticism Ricky has taken the past few weeks and deservedly so, he did a great job this week. I really like Christian's pant, I thought the concept of using the jacket sleeves was very innovative. I wouldn't be surprised to see that idea end up on the racks. His jacket was very signature Christian, not something I would ever go for, but I did admire the construction. Sweet Peas dress was simple and looked great. I liked Rami's also. All of them, outside of Jillian & Victorya did nice work.

I was so happy that heinous beast was kicked off. She may have won past challenges, but she showed no consistency and had no scruples, thrilled that she's gone.

When Jillian was in the bottom two I got nervous because I really do like her, glad she didn't get eliminated.

I kind of hated the challenge because it's so limiting. You're working with previously constructed garments, which automatically means that you're new garment will have lots of seams and shapes. Plus, there's only so much you can do with denim, it's stiff, it has no natural movement to it and no matter what you do it always looks like just another denim (fill in the blank). Your only options are, pants, fitted skirts, sharp jackets and that's it. So freakin boring.

And I was actually laughing out loud when they were all talking about Christian, not only because what they said was completely true, but it's comforting to know that he really is that much of an obnoxious little troll and the other contestants hate him as much as the viewing public does.

^ I agree with you.

In addition, I really do not think Chris should be there still. Not that I disagree with this elimination but I think Chris really is not a good or modern designer.

I really liked Victorya at the start but she did decline and also I agreed she was one of the worst tonight.

I'm pleased with the outcome of tonight^_^

I loved the jeans Christian (give him a bottle and send him to bed

) made

^^ That crying smilie should be added here as :ricky:

I wanted to die when Ricky lost it on the runway.
I think Heidi looked a little shocked too.

It was nice to see Rami not drape for once but he didn't really have a choice did he?...

I liked they showed some of Christian's whining....
b/c that's how I imagine him to be 90% of the time.
I think he's probably only a fierce crack up about 10%.

Good going Sweet P taking Tim's advice.
If she hadn't I think she would have been in big trouble.
A denim wedding dress! Who would want to wear that?...
I think she is lovely but not the best at all.

Next week looks insane!
Can't wait!!

HAH! I agree with allll of this. I can't believe they told Rami something for always doing the same thing, but they've never told Christian that about his puffy-sleeved, high-necked, ruffled jackets. Oh well.

They're still under the naive impression that he's a genius and avant garde.....silly judges.

All they need to do is check out style.com, pop into the Met's Costume Institute and you'll see how much of a genius he is.

i agree with you, caramia!
rami drapes a lot, but christian has done a high collared blouse or jacket every single time almost.

but i am SOOOO happy victorya was kicked off because she was such a yawn personality wise even though i thought she had a pretty cute style. but her personality reminded me of my seventh grade science teacher. but meaner.

ironically, before the episode i was SURE rikki was going to be kicked off considerring he is ALWAYYSS on the bottom, but i think he deserved to win! his was great...

Seriously! Come to think of it, given their general consensus... it's actually kind of a compliment if Heidi and Kors think you suck and send you off the show :innocent:

Plus he uses the same color pallette pretty much all the time:

all from bravotv.com

I personally prefer Rami's "same old same old" stuff to Christian's, especially since Rami actually didn't drape as much as I though going through the episode galleries.
