This cover is a piece of garbage, definitely one of the worst magazine covers ever...

Can't believe than Grace styled Gaga, a such of waste of her work.

Well that's quite dissapointing, I thought Mert & Marcus could make this work for me but sadly no. I hate everything: she looks like a drag queen, her hair looks like a left over from a fur coat, the dress is ugly, the silhouette is weird, the pose is awkward, the red banner is unnecessary... of course it will sell but it's a very, very bad cover, especially for September and the biggest issue yet.

Praying for good contents.

i dont think its just because of gaga that this doesnt look good, well at least for me, i think that the whole thing, the concept, the styling, the execution is bad. I like just few things, like the dress or gaga's eyes and that this is different from what we have seen recently, they took a risk, did it work? not really good

At first glance it looks like UK Vogue. It's certainly a departure for US Vogue but that's not always a good thing.

I'm more concerned about the content.

The red banner is so cheap and unnecessary, but I LOVE the cover image. It pays homage to the classic fashion sketch while still being a real photograph. Plus...916 pages?! And I thought the Sept 07 issue was huge. This one's gonna break my bookshelf...XD

My gut instinct is that she'll be dropping her new single anytime soon for her 2013 album release, along with the debut of her new fragrance launch (typically VOGUE US seeks to it that they use every bit of her, since she is the ideal cover model to sell instantly on newstands everywhere).

My first response like some of the people is that she does look like RuPaul, I don't dislike anything about the cover image but at the same time i've seen better, it's a good quality photo for a record breaking 917 page September issue.

Love or hate the cover but surely this issue warrants a purchase because of it being their biggest issue ever. I'll probably be picking up three copies exactly as I did with last years September issue. One for reading, ripping apart and to work the biceps ha. Another for future reference and one for a rainy day.

With the sell rates of Gaga's last issue and the $1.00 increase in cost, the issue will be wildly successful. Brilliant move in my opinion.

So, the banner was apart of the set. Interesting development but I still don't like it on the cover...

The more I look at the cover, the more I hate that dress. It's just such a cliche, obvious way to go. I'm actually most disappointed that Grace styled this, because she's better than this.

120 years of VOGUE and we get this ?!?! this cover image resembles an amateur snap of a whacked out Barbie doll who got eaten up and regurgitated by a dog and then neatly placed in it's shiny box; certainly not representative of the best of American VOGUE and it's long illustrious, influential history. what is this world coming to...some of the stills of Gaga are pleasant; sorta reminds me of Raquel Z.
