I know I'm a bit late but when i read this my first thought was - Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker, The Town).

Tom and Jeremy are currently filming Mission Impossible 4 and we all know the rumours about Tom. Jeremy plays for the same team according to other blind items. Katie Holmes hasn't looked happy since 2007.

This couple has actually been split up for months now, but you may not have even noticed since – like Scarlett and Ryan – they are usually photographed separately from each other. Did anyone figure this out? The only breakup I heard about that was announced between Christmas and NY was John Mellencamp and his wife. If it's them, then that item wasn't just blind, it was really, really, incredibly blind.

either way, these two do fit the blind item and knowing how much Macaulay is private the end of the BI fits perfectly (part about announcing it). i liked them together.

No. That would be because Kellan Lutz is a loser. Ryan Gosling is many things. He may even be a little pretentious with his fake Brooklyn accent. But Ryan Gosling is definitely not a loser. Speaking of... I just remembered why I hate Lainey so damn much. Yes, we get it, Blake Lively is a big ol' wh*re who runs around breaking up marriages and sleeping with anyone she sees. It's all her fault. Those poor, innocent men just can't help themselves around her. They just sort of trip and their penises accidentally fall in! Also, it is completely and totally wrong for a woman to enjoy sleeping with men. She's... she's promiscuous! *gasp*

but imo Lainey never blames (only) the girls, she just has a few girls she hates and a few she loves. kristen stewart for example is her biggest love and she totally fangirls over her and turns everything she does into "cool, edgy kristen" but if say Kate Bosworth did the exact same stuff it would all be bad. i just can't take her serious at all, it's all rather embarrassing

during a chat few weeks ago Lainey mentioned something about Affleck on the set of the new movie he's been filming and hinted there might be some story coming out about him and other co-star hooking up, but nothing came out of it in the tabs so my guess is that she was referring to that in her yesterday's smutty tingles. the misogynistic BIs came from other sources, not Lainey from what i can remember.

and yeah i agree with Alvie, Lainey has her girls (Stewart, Blanchett, Mulligan) and the others she likes to call "why is?" (Alba, Bosworth, Rossum, Biel) and i don't recall ever her specifically ever speaking about Lively in "ruining marriages" stories (if anything, she's been more than vocally expressed how much Affleck's still been "running around town") more in "the body, the boobs" talk. she tends to label the girls by the talent she thinks they posses and by the work they've done so i think it's more in the group of those without talent and those with it and by which she tends to sympatize or not with certain celebrity.

My bad. Looking over the BI that set me off, I think I was getting her mixed up with Ted C, who also does the incredibly annoying THESE ARE MY FAVORITES AND I HATE ALL THESE OTHER ONES thing, but with an extra side of "women who sleep with men are SLUTS." It's like they're both still stuck in junior high. It is so uncool. So, uh, just change "Lainey" to "Ted" up there. Whoops.

Anyway, I've been convinced for a long time that they're both pretty much making stuff up at this point (Ted moreso than Lainey) and then when it doesn't pan out they're like, "Ooh, PR SAVE." Though I don't totally disbelieve the Affleck rumors, but I think that has more to do with him being Ben Affleck than with Lainey or Ted being right.

i dunno, i think Lainey tends to get some info (and she tends to check her sources and then label some news with exclusive while still making her column all about her personal opinion on certain situations/people), while Ted, in my opinion, basically makes his articles up from 2-3 tweets found on the net and then claims "insider" gave them out. and yeah, he tends to be very misogynistic, i agree.
