I know and until the addict actually sees & admits they've got a problem no amount of court-ordered help is actually going to be effective

actually sometimes this doesnt even work.
i have a family member who is an addict (mostly alcohol but there have been plenty of drugs too) and he knows he has the problem, hes tried to get help, he was forced and everything, still he isnt clean.

so it doesnt always help..

Lohan hasn't been hired in years and has faced a series of reality checks, and yet she hasn't learned anything from it.

well she has been hired, they were just for guest spots (Ugly Betty) or straight to dvd movies (Labor Pains, etc) or they just really bombed when they opened (I know who Killed me, that went to theatres right?)

so really, she has been getting jobs, just not good ones.
her last good job was probably Mean Girls or Freaky Friday, whichever was the last one to be released.

Michael Lohan says he turned in a list of doctors he claims "over-prescribed" drugs to Lindsay Lohan ... and he wants the L.A. County Sheriff's Department to investigate the docs.

Michael went to the West Hollywood Sheriff's station on Friday afternoon. He says he reported the doctors because he believes they wrongly prescribed drugs, and they did so "under false names."

Lohan also says his lawyer, Lisa Bloom, talked to California Attorney General Jerry Brown about including these doctors as part of his massive prescription drug investigation.

When Lindsay Lohan gets out of jail she'll head to rehab -- almost immediately -- but she won't have to go far because we've learned Linds will get the court ordered 90-day treatment right here in California.

Sources close to LiLo say the plan is for her to enter a rehab facility somewhere in Cali so people in her camp can keep close tabs on her progress.

Michael Lohan had lobbied for his daughter to enter a facility on Long Island, but we're told that's not going to happen.

Lindsay's peeps most likely want to avoid a repeat of her 2007 rehab visit to Cirque Lodge in Utah. It's a respected facility, but word is Lindsay treated it like a joke.

Yeah I thought about those. But for someone who claimed in Interview magazine that she had become an actress to star in classics and great cinematic works, not to become a tabloid magnet, I wasn't sure they were worth considering.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in full control of the Century Regional Detention Facility, where she's incarcerated for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI arrest. Her every whim is being catered to at the expense of the other inmates -- this claim is according to Maria Medina , a relative of an inmate at Lohan's jail. "All the inmates are sick of Lindsay," Medina tells People.com. "It's almost like Lindsay Lohan's here, but she's not. Like if she even moves, they put the whole facility on lockdown. It happens all the time. For example, just yesterday (Friday), Lindsay had to go to the mini-clinic, and the whole place was on lockdown again." A Los Angeles Sheriff's spokesman denied People's claims, saying Lohan is being given no special treatment, but we prefer thinking of her as running the show. Just call her Bubba.

LYNWOOD, Calif. - Lindsay Lohan is hoping she'll be freed from jail even earlier than expected, but the sheriff has a message for her: Keep dreaming.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County sheriff said Monday the "Mean Girls" star is stuck in the pokey until at least Aug. 1.

"Nothing has changed. The calculation is done," spokesman Steve Whitmore told the Daily News. "Her release is scheduled for the first part of next week - Sunday, Monday or Tuesday."

Lohan was sentenced to 90 days for violating her probation but caught a big break when officials said she would serve only 13 or 14 days due to overcrowding.

Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, visited yesterday and said Lohan was hopeful she'd get out even sooner.

"I have my fingers crossed," Chapman Holley said.

Lohan, 24, is in protective custody at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, the same lockup where Paris Hilton did time three years ago.

She eats alone in her cell and gets at least an hour a day for showering and phone calls.

"She looked sad and defeated, but it's not a happy place," said recently released inmate Jennifer Olshock, 29, of Venice Beach, who crossed paths with Lohan in the medical ward last week.

"She looked sad, but she wasn't hysterical or out of control. She's not crazy. She'll make it."

Chapman Holley denied Internet rumors Lohan has been crying hysterically and cutting herself to get attention.

Attorney Wants Lindsay Lohan Testimony on Strip Searches

A request to order jailed actress Lindsay Lohan to be deposed in a lawsuit challenging strip searches of female inmates at the Century Regional Detention Facility was filed Monday in federal court.

[ Attorney Colleen Flynn said she is seeking to determine whether Lohan was subjected to a strip or visual body cavity search in a bus parking lot outside the Lynwood jail like its other inmates.

If Lohan was not subject to such a search, it would bolster a claim in the federal suit that such searches are not necessary for security reasons, Flynn said.

Flynn said she filed the ex parte motion because Lohan will no longer be reachable by a process server following her expected release from the jail next week for violating her probation in two driving under the influence cases.

The lawsuit against Sheriff Lee Baca claims the strip searches violate the inmates' Fourth Amendment guarantee against unlawful searches.

Steve Whitmore, a sheriff's department spokesman, said he wondered why Lohan was the target of the action among the about 60,000 women booked into the Los Angeles County jail system each year.

``On the surface of it, it seems like exploitation,'' Whitmore told City News Service.

Whitmore declined to discuss the substance of the suit, citing department policy against discussing litigation.

1) Any real rehab doesn't allow "the camp" to keep tabs her progress;

2) "The camp" needs to concurrently attend family recovery/rehab;

3) If it's not The Meadows, Sierra Tucson, or Betty Ford she's not serious above changing -- surprise.

So she is getting released early. Well, once she's out, someone grab her, lock her in a rehab centre, throw away the key and keep her mother as far away as possible.

i know i say this a lot, but its ridiculous that she is only serving 2 weeks.
she will learn nothing.
shell make it sound like she spent 3 months in there, and shell over dramatize everything.
shes a drama queen, she aint going to change.
