Did I misunderstand or isn't this a period of being out on bail and the July 6th hearing is the real probation violation smack down? I think she is still eligible for serious jail time at that point- I got the impression that the judge is just giving her one last chance to prove she can follow orders before she goes away! That was my reading of it, anyway...

Lindsay Lohan walked into the courtroom Monday morning sporting some surprisingly conservative courtroom attire and RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively which designers Lindsay chose to wear on her big day in court.

The Mean Girls star told RadarOnline.com that she wore a white Costume National blouse, a tailored black Prada suit, black Brian Atwood shoes and shades from Dior.

Her court appearance even made the news here....sure it was on one of the trashier channels but this is probably the most global exposure she's had in years. Well, since the whole car crash/c**e in her pocket thing.

Prosecutor Danette Meyers asked for proof that Lohan had a ticket to fly back to the United States in time for last week's hearing. Defense attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said she has the proof and will show it to the court.

This could be the ticking time bomb until July 6th- if she told her lawyer that, which she no doubt has, and there is none, that could tip the scales against her...That is, if you are of the opinion that she will ever get punished for anything...

Will Lindsay Lohan ever learn her lesson?
Lil' Linds was caught in a blatant lie yesterday when she told the judge in her probation hearing that she couldn't comply with the conditions of her probation (which include staying in the LA area, submitting to random drug tests, and wearing a SCRAM anklet) because she needed to be in Texas for filming of her new movie.
However, the people behind two of her new films, Machete and Inferno say that Lindsay is straight up lying. Woops!
A rep for Machete tells TMZ that although they are planning on filming additional scenes in Texas, "they don't include [Lindsay]."
A different rep for Inferno tells TMZ that they don't plan filming until August (when Lindsay's probation requirements should be finished) and that they aren't filming in Texas. So what filming was Lindsay talking about that was taking place in Texas?
Lindsay better watch out because if she is caught lying in the court room she could be charged with contempt of court. We don't think she needs to rack up any more charges at this point."

I´m reading all these pages and can´t help but wonder, if Rebecca Gayheart killed a boy with her car and only got a 3 year probation (+a fine and community service) there´s no way in hell that Lindsay will ever go to prison...

The things some celebs get away with is really insane. Had that been any other person, they'd still be serving time for that. This is why I highly doubt Lindsay will get any jail time any time soon, and if she does, it's going to be a few days at most.

Studio bosses defend Lohan
The studio executive behind Lindsay Lohan’s Linda Lovelace biopic has defended the actress' decision to attend the Cannes Film Festival days before an mandatory probation hearing, insisting her presence in France was necessary to sell the project.
The Mean Girls star left Los Angeles for France without completing court-ordered alcohol education classes. She then had her passport stolen in Europe and was unable to make it back to Los Angeles in time for her court date last week.
A warrant was issued for her arrest, but the notice was recalled after assistants posted $10,000 of her $100,000 bail.
Lohan appeared in a Beverly Hills court on Monday and she banned her from leaving Los Angeles and ordered to refrain from d**** and alcohol for the foreseeable future. She was also fitted with an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet.
Now, Muse Films production boss Jonathan Fong insists the drama was necessary - because Lohan had to travel to Cannes and her time at the festival was all about business.
He tells UsMagazine.com, "The purpose of the trip was for sales. That was her role as the star, making press appearances in support of the movie. She showed up at other parties, but she was promoting the movie in the atmosphere. It helps to sell the movie to have her meet with the people who will fund the film."
And Fong is standing by the troubled star, who will portray the p*rn queen in Inferno, insisting, "Lohan is still attached to the project."
Production on the movie is expected to begin in the autumn.
