So TMZ is reporting Lindsay is telling people she is not going to jail...

To avoid some of these theatrics they should have taken her from the courtroom as the Judge planned.

^ That is what I though immediately!! Why give this drama queen two weeks to crank up the media machine (and no doubt do other things...) It's not like she was in the middle of filming a movie or something (I understand there was a rumor Lindsay used to be an actress...unsubstantiated, of course..)

As far as the mouthpiece bailing out, I'm guessing LilHo went absolutely BatSpastic on her and resorted to a whole list of name calling and incomprehensible rants, after which the lawyer finally realized what she had gotten tied up with and decided to make at least some effort to salvage her legal career, like heading to Peru or something.

She left because she found out Lindsay was looking for a new lawyer, rather than wait to be fired.

That ET interview with Dina is kind of alarming... it sounds like Dina constantly tells Lindsay, "Don't worry. You're not going to jail. Your old lawyer was crap, we'll get a new one, and then the sentence will be overturned. You're completely innocent. You have done nothing wrong. You don't need rehab. Everything will be OK."

Michael Lohan's not much better. I didn't see pictures but someone said he was outside the courthouse, taking pictures and giving autographs to fans. WTF?

I feel like if Lindsay ever gets to the point where she needs conservatorship like Britney, it's going to be her younger brother (Michael, the one that's in college) who gets it because both parents are clearly clueless on what the best interests of their daughter are.

certainly not her drinking/drug taking
or how she constantly broke her probation.
because as we all know, lindsay is soo innocent when it comes to that

dina does realize that the witnesses are swore in and if they are caught lying, they could get in trouble for it (they can cant they ?) .. and it would look even worse for Lindsay and her disfuntional family.

as for the conservatorship, i doubt that would even help lindsay, she would only break those rules too

Yes, it's called perjury...you go to jail for that- lying under oath...I wonder how many of her 'friends' would be willing to do that for her? And about conservatorship, I was thinking either Phil Spector or Amy Whinehouse- either would be good for her and a step up from her parents...
