Lindsay Lohan's Lawyer: I Quit!
TMZ has learned ... Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has resigned as LiLo's lawyer.
TMZ called Holley for comment on a story we're working on, and she informed us she is no longer repping Lindsay. Sources tell us Holley resigned earlier today.

As for who Lindsay will be hiring ... we're told she's a brand new lawyer, Tiffany Feder-Cohen, who was just admitted to the bar in November.

As for what Lindsay wants her to do ... stay tuned. We'll tell you shortly.

Lindsay Lohan: I'm NOT Going to Jail!

Sources tell TMZ ... Lindsay Lohan vows to appeal Judge Marsha Revel's 90-day jail sentence.

One source who was with Lindsay last night says LiLo proclaimed, "I'm not going to jail!" Lindsay was talking with people in her apartment about appealing the case.

As for how Lindsay could appeal ... the only real basis is arguing that Judge Revel abused her discretion in nailing LiLo with a 90-day sentence. The chances of winning such an appeal are extremely remote under the best of circumstances, and given Lindsay's performance on probation ... snowballs and hell come to mind.

Lindsay's vow to appeal could explain why Shawn Chapman Holley just threw in the towel and resigned.

We're told Lohan's new attorney, Tiffany Feder-Cohen, has already been in touch with the Sheriff's Department.

honestly. i think lindsay fired her because she got sentenced to go to jail.

^ You know, an appeal is based on either new evidence (as if!!) or that the hearing itself was not conducted properly...I can't see that either!
Now her father just said on TV that she can avoid jail by checking herself into rehab..Um- Michael- she already is going to rehab, after she goes to jail!! And he said every time he calls Lindsay's mother she is drunk-a situation he would have lots of knowledge of...!

So me and my friends have been saving up to help Lindsay's comeback I've got $6.30, my friends have a total of $17.50 so we're ready to get our production underway. Haven't got Disney on board yet but we've talked to each other about Disney so I guess that means we're 'in talks' with Disney now, or something. Oh ya and like the other 'studios' we're also going to wait for her to finish jail and rehab because this is a beautiful story to be told.

Finally, some Lindsay Lohan news! (Kind of.) An out of place middle-aged man has been identified in photos from Lohan's New Year's Eve trip to St. Barth's: Jeff Greene, weird billionaire Democratic Senate candidate from Florida!

Greene is in a close Senate primary with Rep. Kendrick Meek for the Democratic nomination. He entered the race just as the party was ready to consolidate around Meek, pissing off everyone. Greene, a true populist, made his fortune shorting the housing market during the recent unpleasantness, taking the advice of notorious hedge fund manager John Paulson, back when he was cool. Now, for whatever reason, he's self-financing a campaign he'll certainly lose eventually to become Florida's powerless back-benching junior senator. He cares about jobs.
