^ That Times article actually gives me some new sympathy for Lindsay...imaging being a stupid kid growing up with her for direction!

well, as ive said again and again, dina cannot be blamed ALL the time.

LiLo is NOT a child.

I don't mind Lindsay actually, I feel sorry for her for not having help from the start. If I did the things this girl did then my mum would definitely sort we out, not in a violent way but she would make sure that I wasn't doing the things she did. Your parents set an example to you and obviously a bad one in Lilo's case.

Isn't she like 15 or 16? So we'll just have to see about that.

she's obviously a grounded person and even though her sister acts as well, it's obvious the mum isn't pushing them or trying to get the spotlight for herself. i mean, i don't even know what the mum looks like, whereas with dina we've had reality shows about her and ali going about doing..well nothing. she'll take any opportunity to speak to the media and probably goes to anything she gets invited to.

15, 16 for someone that has been in hollywood since they were practically a toddler is a lot older than the normal 15, 16 y.o. take drew barrymore per example, who started off as a baby and was in rehab by the time she was 13. if dakota was going down the lindsay path we would be seeing signs of that by now. i guess we'll see about that but it's highly unlikely she'll be the next lindsay.

Dina Lohan on Lauer is a complete liar, self-centered deflector of blame, narcissistic personality disorder ridden ... idiot!

First time I've ever heard her speak. My over-riding impression is that woman is a liar, liar, pants-on-fire. The epitome of a self centered addict stage mother.

I don't know what it is, but she's on something I guarantee it.

There are two places you'll most often cross paths with this personality: rehab intake & jail.

Dina Lohan's interview with Matt Lauer is cringe worthy. Poor Mr. Lauer had to put with her sh*t for 13 long minutes. I would have slapped her delusional face and kicked her downer-ridden a** long before that. That b*tch is wallowing in denial.

Dakota Fanning's parents aren't delusional. Unlike Michael & Dina Lohan.

^ Yes, and I don't think the use of various things was out of the ordinary in their home...

Lindsay Lohan -- Inspirational

8/15/2010 12:55 AM PDT by TMZ Staff
Lindsay Lohan -- not a role model, except for some female patients at the UCLA Medical Center.

Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ .... she's "passionate" about mentoring some of the troubled girls she's met in rehab. Lindsay has taken a genuine liking to the girls -- writing them inspirational notes and giving them advice. Ironic, we know.

As for life in rehab, one source close to Lindsay describes it as "full-on 'Girl, Interrupted'." We're told Lindsay gets no special treatment -- if anything, nurses are harder on her to show they're not playing favorites.

LiLo doesn't have a window in her room and she can't change the channels on her TV because it's behind glass.

A room at the Chateau, it ain't.

Well it's meant to be a punishment so I should hope not  At least she has finished feeling sorry for herself and actually trying to do some good, maybe the old Lilo can come back? We can hope ^_^

It is very typical for people with her problems, to get their head straight after a couple of weeks and then want to be counselors and save everybody else...it is, in many respects, a way to avoid facing the really serious work of facing one's own demons that drove you to use in the first place...Rehab is easy and secure compared to what faces her when she gets out- last time she was using again within a week or so, which was when the car accident and arrest happened...:(

But she was sober for a pretty long time after Cirque Lodge.

^ I would consider it a punishment if she didn't go in on her own accord to help herself. She didn't want to help herself and she thought it was a punishment to go to jail and rehab.

I'll start believing her desire to help others when she gets out, goes to meetings and whatever other help she may need for a few years, goes to school and gets certification as a counselor, and becomes an example of sober living...then she will have paid her dues and proven herself (for a change) and she will be able to help others...What do you think the odds are?

i agree. it wouldn't be a punishment if it wasn't for her attitude that this IS a punishment for something she supposedly didn't do and it's everyone else's fault but her own. if she went in with the attitude that it's for her best and that she needs to sort herself out it'd be a whole different story.
