Robert Patttinson is making sure that he’s always close to girlfriend Kristen Stewart’s heart.

How? By giving her a $40,000 antique gold and platinum locket with photos of them inside and a personalized lovey-dovey inscription.

According to Star magazine, the inscription is in Latin, and says “Even if you can’t see me, my love for you is always there.” Awww….

Needless to say, Kristen was bowled over by the gift. “She was really touched—it was so incredibly sweet,” a source told Star.

Rob got Kristen the locket so she feels close to him at all times. The source tells Star, “She’s been in tears, saying she can’t face being away from Rob for too long and that it physically hurts her.”

I find the idea of spending $40,000 on a piece of jewelery slightly ridiculous. Neither of them strike me as the type to feel the need for such an expensive gift either...

Even though Rob seem like a generous and slighty romantic guy I lol at this.
He said he liked simple dates like just sitting around, turning of the tv blablabla.. Buying a $40,000 necklace (as tacky as that) just doesn't fit into it. And also the fact that he doesn't spend a lot of money on things for himself, why would he buy SO much jewelry for Kristen? I mean.. If we put all of these stories together he's spent like..what? A million dollars on her? LOL.

The only thing that I know of that he has spent serious money on is his vintage guitars. But he loves music and has been playing the guitar since he was young so that's understanding.

But I don't understand how people "know" he gave those to her. They're just guessing :S he's never said anything about giving her gifts so it's just speculations, I think are just ridiculous by the way. I have a ring I bought for myself two years ago and I only take it off if I'm doing dishes, showers and sleeps. It could be that she just liked that Chanel ring doesn't have to be a gift from someone special. So typical fans..

considering they're always changing seats for stars throughout the show due to award presentations i doubt these two had any input for those 5 min they sat next to each other. it's a matter of practicality if it's to read their body language, not emotion. just my opinion. speaking of friendships...Nikki was dropped out of K11 as K's mom took different peeps and finally shot the movie last month.

Koko, there are breakup rumors, esp since she's in London and him not immediately arriving to UK after her is apparently clear sign of a breakup. i'm thinking he's still in LA due to business meetings and the fact he has yet to line his next project.
