its not the actual underwear, it's the plastic pieces, most likely the snaps/closures or whatever the technical term for those things are

The clasps? The clasps on all of the bras except for the very few with front closure aren't plastic (but the later is plastic). Hm the only other plastic stuff I can think of are the non-swarovski rhinestones and sequins.

Could it be the ones that use memory foam for the cups and padding? Or the dyes?

and I think it is more than deserved, she is stunning and I can't wait to see her part of the line-up
To me she could be the next Adriana (who also had that innocent/sweet/angelic/sexy package when she started)

^I must agree the names you mention are the most replaceable ones. Though, Erin has grown on me, I could see there was a slot for her in the line-up, she could be the sweet girl next door, Lindsay and Lily represent that role too, and eventhough I have nothing against them, I would love a clear line-up. I was just watching an ad from mid 2000s` and there was Gisele, Izabel, Selita, Karolina, Adriana and Alessandra and even if they all aren`t personal favorites of mine, they completed and complemented each other so well.

Is anyone else not a fan of Michael Bay's recent VS commercials?

I only really realised this during the VSFS segment about past commercials. Some of them were so beautiful, sophisticated and understated (particularly the French château.)

Bay's commercials just seem so repetitive, uninteresting and shot through a very male gaze in comparison. The Angels aren't really given a personality - they just stand there looking beautiful while they look into umpteen wind machines with explosions going off somewhere in the background. There's probably also a car or a helicopter with lots of flashes to emphasise the point...

It doesn't feel right for VS, imo. I don't really think it'll attract customers in the same way that their old adverts did. The new adverts are quite intimidating to many customers (especially in the 25-35 age bracket which VS must attract) and seem to portray a very male image of a powerful woman. It's not empowering, it's just 'pwow, look at these hot women!' - not 'look at these empowered women who feel sexy because of their underwear.'

I don't know... That's just my two cents? Does anyone else feel this?

Yes. Youre not alone ^^ Ive said that a few times before as well about M.Bay for VS.

So I can only second what you just said.

Also, I feel like they should find new photographers -for a change. Russel and Ben are good but it also got stale.

What does that mean? People just want to see beautiful talented models on the VS runway not girls each with a label associated with them. Actually among Erin, Lily, & Lindsay, Lindsay deserves to be an angel more, her walk is great and she had a decent career in HF. Erin and Lily can neither walk nor do they look any special.

I too wish Barbara and Toni were made angels and Lais if she hasn't been already.
