I think it's Beyonce. She's a singer/actress/designer. Three years ago a rumor was spreading that she was 32 years old. Stars lying about their age isn't new. I remember when Kelis real age was revealed. During her "Milk-shake" days she was 28 and lied that she was 22. Fans identified her from a popular rap music video, Wu Tang Clan's : C.R.E.A.M. If she was really 22 at the time the video was made she would've been an underage teenage girl. Which is just totally inappropriate for a teen girl. Plus former classmates verified her age. No one hasn't verified Beyonce's real age. I don't doubt that it's possible she's carrying a showbiz age. Maybe she's like 2 or 3 years older but I find it hard to believe there's a 5 year difference. In the early 90's she looked about preteen or 13. Oh one of the big offenders is Akon the singer. He's like 40 pretending to be 20-something. I have a cousin who's in the music business. He lies about his age too.

A website called MediaTakeOut.com maintains that according to the Texas Department of Health, the superstar was born in 1974, not 1981, which would make the singer 32 instead of 25.

However, sources say that the document's authenticity could not be verified, and the administration at Beyonce's former high school confirms that she was there from 1997-2000.

eta: I think Beyonce said in interviews she grew up in a middle class background and went to private schools. I'm not 100% sure.

Catherine for me, she's been running away from her roots since she first appeared on british tv screens, she apparently grew up in quite a rough neighbourhood in Swansea, but her parents came into money, lottery or something and then, oh they weren't working class anymore, moved to a posh area and all. it sounds very much like her to lie about her age as well. Oh puh-lease, there isn't a less reliable source in the world than MediaTakeout. Until I can find legit evidence to prove otherwise, I think Beyonce is being honest about her age (even if that BI is clearly about her).

Yeah I also find it hard to believe there's such a huge age difference. Pre- Destiny's Child rehearsal videos Kelly and Beyonce looked about the same age. I'm not saying the show age business is unlikely it's just that 5 -7 years is too much of a difference.

i am not sure if it is Beyonce. i think she is such a huge huge star, that it would be really hard to keep her secret. also people from her highschool would be able to confirm that she is older.

.... but then again: Beyonce looked so mature when they first came out as Destiny's Child. she was/claimed to be 17 at that time .

Yeah I think everyone on here guessed them at the time...Rebecca does sound like a hot mess though, she hangs around some low lifes. I really hope she doesn't try to rush a pregnancy, poor child.
