She's ridiculous. She needs to get over it. It's only 3 months. Time will fly by. Even then, she'll probably get out early because of overcrowding and all that lark. This moaning and complaining and 'too harsh a sentence' is showing how immature and childish she is. Once she's finished her sentence, lock her up in rehab and throw away the key.
^ But I would doubt these other cases have been on probation for three years, violated that probation God knows how many times, failed three rehab 'attempts' and been seen getting carried out of clubs every week of the year!! Come on- no wonder she was shocked by the sentence- she has never gotten any punishment- she even called her rehab experience 'like a vacation', when generally it is a gut wrenching shock where people have to face their darkest demons...She may have the greatest sense of entitlement in history- I doubt it will be honored by the county jail and it's charming population... 
So what happens with the hijacking and store theft cases? Are they postponed til her release from rehab or can be settled without her?
And is it true she has to pay for the court ordered rehab?
She should try and do a Playboy cover in these 2 weeks to pay for all that. She's going to have an even harder time getting insurance from now on, it's safe to say she'll be in very small indie movies or p*rn for the next few years at least.

She's really radioactive at this point, despite all of this garbage about them putting productions on hold for her... 
Of course- IF she did the time and rehab, she could come out clean and looking great, so maybe there is still a (small) hope... I don't know though, one of the commentators was saying she has been so spoiled and catered to since she is like 11 years old- she has had no contact with the real world; this is a very tough adjustment at her age- the rest of us have to start dealing with these things in our early teens- she still hasn't figured it out....

i know someone in my state that had to pay for week of in house (overnight)court ordered rehab after a DUI. i think the price was close to 1000$ for that one week. i doubt they would make someone pay for 3 whole months of it however.

Although Lindsay Lohan turned 24 on July 2, she was reportedly expected to celebrate her birthday on Wednesday night, the day after her sentencing for probation violation, at the Hollywood nightclub Las Palmas. But she canceled the party at the last minute.
Sources told People.com that the actress had confirmed her plans only hours before the party was scheduled to start. "Lindsay was planning to celebrate her birthday with the owners of Las Palmas, who are like family to her," the source says. "And [she was going to celebrate with] her friend Ferras, who was also celebrating his birthday that night."
Then Lohan's pal Marcus Molinari tweeted that she had in fact changed her mind and planned to spend time with her family instead of hitting the L.A. party scene. "Lindsay is not having her birthday @laspalmas!!!" he wrote. "She is at home with friends and family!!! We wish her well and love her!!!"
Singer/songwriter Ferras re-tweeted Molinari's post, confirming that Lohan ditched their joint celebration.
Just hours after her sentencing, Dina and Michael Lohan reacted to the news of their daughter's punishment, which includes 90 days in jail to be followed by 90 days in rehab for violating probation. "This is so not fair to do this to my child," Dina said, but Michael had a more positive take on the jail time and rehab.
Noting that he was dismayed by the thought of Lindsay going to jail, he added that he also felt "a little satisfaction that she's going to rehab."

Enough! Blubbering, bawling mega boob Lindsay Lohan doesn't deserve a speck of your sympathy or support, nor a dollop of respect. What Linz desperately needs is a swift kick in the teeth, a foot in the backside and a broom with which to clean up her many messes, which I would not touch with a full-body condom.

Once, she was a role model for young ladies, the fresh-faced child star who entered our living rooms and movie theaters with heaps of promise and every opportunity known to man and the creator. Lindsay has been running roughshod over d**g, drinking and driving laws almost as long as she's been alive, thumbing her nose at court-ordered counseling while blaming everyone -- counselors, handlers, boy-girl lovers, even her miserable father -- for her epic failures as a sentient human.
As the final insult, she came to court on Tuesday with her left middle fingernail stenciled with the height of obscenities -- "f - - k u" -- which Lindsay aimed squarely at the judge, spectators and the planet in general. It should have been aimed squarely at Lindsay herself.

If Lindsay can't read, which is seriously in question, I suggest she get someone to recite for her the Department of Labor statistics that reveal that 54 percent -- more than one in two! -- of adults under age 25 are unemployed. This means that lots of people of Lindsay's precise age would kill for a single day spent enjoying the perks and opportunities she routinely tosses away like yesterday's love interest.
Lindsay, whose mother, Dina, may be just a smidge less insufferable than her fair-haired meal ticket, was full of excuses when she came to court. But she could not quite explain away her daughter's lapses, such as what she was doing in Cannes when she should have been undergoing counseling.
Lindsay's excuse? She lost her passport and couldn't come home!
She blamed everyone. Except her own miserable self.
"As far as I had known, I was in compliance," she told the judge, shocking me with a new defense strategy of mental idiocy. "Had I been taken aside and told [otherwise] then, that would have been a different story."
We've had it. Beverly Hills Judge Marsha Revel spoke for all America when she called Lindsay an insufferable liar.
"She comes and goes as she pleases," said the judge. "It's like somebody who cheats doesn't think they're cheating until they get caught."
Then she lowered the boom.
Lindsay's 90-day sentence should be treated as an overdue wakeup call. But I have every reason to believe Lindsay has learned nothing.
"The system failed her," estranged dad Michael said, as serious as open-heart surgery, giving a glimpse into the origins of Lindsay's ruination.
In the crowded LA penal system, it's unlikely Lindsay will really spend 90 days in jail.
I fear that Lindsay will soon be back on the streets and freeways and in our faces, posing a disgraceful example to young women everywhere who just want to catch an honest break.

Girlfriend's a hot mess but I can't help but wish her the best. She is surrounded by enablers and up until now has never been held accountable for her own actions. As much as I love Lindsay, I pray that when she is sent to prison she is not let out after 16 hours because of "overcrowding" but that she serves her complete sentence. Addicts need to hit rock bottom before they can truly commit to recovery.

"Ms. Lohan and I are extremely disappointed in the sentence handed down by Judge Revel. We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances," Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, who's based in Santa Monica at the firm Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump & Aldisert, said in a statement Thursday.
"The reality is that Ms. Lohan, like most defendants, had to balance work commitments with court requirements," the statement continues. "To be punished so severely for doing so, particularly in light of the fact that she substantially complied with each of her probationary conditions, is harsh and unfair."
That said, Holley added, "Ms. Lohan is prepared to serve her jail time and to comply with the Court's orders." Her 90-day sentence is set to begin July 20.
Holley also addressed the brewing controversy over a manicure Lohan sported with an explicit message.
"With respect to Ms. Lohan's nails, the fact is, the words could barely be seen by the naked eye," Holley says. "That a courtroom camera, purportedly there to accurately chronicle the proceedings, would use a telephoto lens to zoom in as it did to Ms. Lohan's fingernail is a commentary on the entire issue."
