I don't mean legal emancipation, I mean she needs to stay as far away from them as physically possible. And if we're to beleive the things one of her past bodyguards said about the way she was treated by her parents as a teenager, then they're the ones that should be in jail.

are you saying that lindsay shouldnt be in jail for what she did because her parents treat her like a child ?

not trying to say that you are, im just trying to understand what you mean by that.

Almost time for lights out. Phone is dying. Hope the guard doesn't notice the charger cable going into my crotch.

Someone please arrest Morgan Freeman for something. I need him here to narrate my harrowing journey.

FML the pink jumpsuit that Ali smuggled me just got confiscated. Don't they understand?? On wedsnesdays we wear pink!!

Nobody knows what I'm going through except Nelson Mandela and maybe Joan of arc

How am I behind bars but @britneyspears hair stylist is a free man? http://twitpic.com/27em76

^ I thought it was a given that those are not Lindsay's tweets. They're not even coming from her twitter account. She is in jail, remember? She does not have internet access or a cell phone. Somebody made it to be funny - so she is not dissing anybody or comparing herself to anybody.

The phrase ~keeping it classy~ was invented for this family

Michael Lohan has officially been charged by the Southhampton Police Department in New York with 2nd degree harassment in connection with an alleged assault against his fiancee Kate Major.
According to court documents, Major told police the following:
  • "My fiance, Michael Lohan, started a verbal argument with me because I didn't answer my cell phone when he called. Then he flipped the sofa chair over while I was sitting in it causing me to bump my head into the wall and my body to the floor. My left collarbone is sore and my right knee is scraped. He proceeded to throw a shoe at me and kick me in the mouth while I was down on the floor. I have a cut on my lip which is causing me a little discomfort. After he kicked me he said, "I am going back to jail because I'm going to kill you!"
Major goes on to say, "I am very scared of Michael Lohan and I want to pursue charges against him for harassment and get an order of protection against him."
Just yesterday, Lohan told X17online.com exclusively that aside from Major's "serious alcohol problem," he did not abuse her in any way. In fact, Lohan claims Major has made up this entire story in an attempt "to make money."
Lohan's attorney, Lisa Bloom, just sent this statement to X17online on behalf of her client:
  • "Michael Lohan 100% denies each and every one of Kate Major’s allegations. He has never threatened to harm her, never assaulted her, and never physically abused her in any way. Kate was heavily intoxicated during the verbal argument between Michael and Kate on Monday early afternoon. Michael Lohan has been clean and sober for six years. Michael Lohan is fully cooperating with the police investigation. No charges have been filed. He expects to be fully vindicated."
Lohan will be formally arraigned in Long Island, NY on August 18.

Have no worries,
I think that it is a given that we all know that is not her tweets.

But they are funny!
Good job on whoever is doing it.

Exclusive: Lindsay Lohan's professional worth goes up, despite jail sentence

Lindsay Lohan may be behind bars, but she is making more money there than she's made in the last year.
The actress managed to finalize TV and news deals the night before she went off to the clink. Sources tell Fox 411 that she locked down all her tell-all interviews already and she will likely be making seven figures when it is all said and done for her story from jail.
"On Monday night, the night before she had to report to jail to serve her sentence, she tied up all loose ends and signed contracts for exclusive television and print stories," a industry source told us. "She'll be doing major television sit downs after she finishes all of her sentence. Lindsay is going to tell everything about her experience in jail, she will open up about her entire life."

Lindsay's mom, Dina, will also be a part of the interviews [], but her father Michael Lohan will have no part in the tell-alls.
"Dina was a part of the team that brokered all the deals[]. They made phone calls, and set up the interviews within three days," the source said. "They wanted to get it all done before she was remanded to Lynwood and they did. It is a small solace to Lindsay while in jail that at least she can continue to make money in some way."
Meanwhile, Lindsay's friend tells us that she's struggling in jail but her friends and family believe that she will come out refreshed when she finishes her rehab.
"She's tough, but being in a cell is hard on her. She cries daily and her emotions are up and down. Everyday is a struggle to stay positive, but we all believe that she will be stronger when she finishes her sentence."
"This is the beginning of a long road that will put her on the right path," sources added,

^At least there's some positive news...I really hope those sources at the end mean what they say.

i read somewhere that her legal team is trying to get her out this weekend due to overcrowding.
i get it, theres overcrowding, but what will she learn by being there for a week ?

if she even gets out by the end of this month, the legal system there is laughable
what will she learn by a week or two in jail ?
she probably thinks of that as a vacation

seriously.
the interviews she would do after being in jail for 2 weeks.
just imagine the stuff we'll hear.. ''i thought a lot about what i did'' , ''i wanna build rehab centers'' , ''im a changed person''

how much of it would be true ?
0%

It's so pathetic. She's going to make it sound like she suffered so much when she's still getting just a slap on the wrist. She'll be back to her wild ways again in no time. I doubt rehab's going to save her either. She'll see it as a joke and play along until she gets out.

I know and until the addict actually sees & admits they've got a problem no amount of court-ordered help is actually going to be effective. I'm quite confident she still believes there's nothing wrong with her or what she's doing and she's got a whole team of people around her telling her the same thing. It's just the evil media and father saying she's got a problem. Like, omg, shut up, I'm totally fine!

Oy vey.
