US Vogue April 2018 : Kendall Jenner by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

Isn't that Christopher's husband and daughters? Why does it say "friend and his family"?

Actually a decent issue! I'm in love with the accessories feature! It's the sort of thing that's been lacking from Vogue recent normcore direction. Although the Klein edit is more VI, and looks more like Summerton, it's certainly refreshing for this magazine. Especially paired with Kendall's edit. Great balance, and the new photographers are most welcome.

Thanks for posting, Zorka!

It's possible that - in a hurry, as usual - I have misunderstood the whole thing, because under that particular picture were a text which states:

After seventeen brilliant years at the helm of Burberry, Christopher Bailey signs off with a little help from his friends—and his family.

Assuming/jumping to a conclusion that ALL these models/celebrities simply couldn't be his (real) friends, I probably overlooked that "s" (in the word friends), and not knowing anything about his private life whatsoever, concluded that in the picture are (obviously!) his kids and his best friend.

(Sometimes I could be really naïve, I know that!:D )

Thanks for posting all the images and for clarifying Zorka! I definitely didn't think your mistake was intentional - I was just curious whether the "friend" credit came from Vogue, because I knew I had read about them being married, so it's obviously not a secret.

And here I was expecting another jumping editorial with Caroline Trentini

But really, I only care for Fei Fei's picture, it is beautiful

Get rid of that Christopher Bailey love-in and this is a great issue! Still love seeing Fei Fei even after all these years

Weird issue...in some ways it feels a lot more "(fashion) forward" than your standard 10s Vogue issue, but there are very off-kilter elements, particularly the casting is a bit wet. All of these very Scooby-Doo ghouls masquerading as fashion models in Klein's and Hawkesworth's edits  (not to mention how hard JH is trying to fill Penn's shoes here, let's not...). Still, sort of memorable stuff I guess.

This is a strangely adventurous issue (for this Vogue, anyway). I don't hate it, although Kendall can piss off as usual.
