Meh about Gigi, can't say I'm surprised though

Kendall, Bella, and Gigi in VSFS shall be of no surprises to anyone actually. They are like the 'expected faces' to come to play in this field.

I asked this question before on tfs and I got the answer that its basically just exposure they're paid with. I bet each model (minus Angels) get paid like $1000USD, maybe less.

It used to be a five figure rate for the regular models. The company isn't doing well and even the Angels' contracts are for not so much money now. That's why Karlie and Doutzen left. The money isn't there anymore.

Maybe even Joan will walk, I think she's one of those models that want to be in the show but without going to the casting like Gigi and Kendall.

And I'm happy that she is. She's always been a perfect match for VS and for the VSFS. I know she has a lot of haters on here, and folks may have fair criticism to make regarding her high fashion output - but VSFS? This is exactly her wheelhouse. She's got the charisma and the look for it.

I think someone mentioned before that Joan is filming a movie during the time when they're taping the show, so she can't make it (hence why she didn't attend castings).

IDK if any of this is true but my first thought was Bianca. She had a lot of buzz this year by appearing in SI and winning rookie of the year and she did appear noticabley different.

Not that VS cares they hire tons of models with plastic surgery

I've liked Gigi for VS, even in 2015. She has a commercial beauty which still manages to suit HF (perfect for VS), and brings that confident energy on the runway. Bella to me is the problem, she has more sex appeal imo but brings nothing but a straight face and a mediocre walk to the runway (its like she can't switch from HF Bella to VS/Social Media Bella.) If Kendall's confirmed I'm crying. She can stay home, she's probably getting more money from KUWTK and the rest of her family than VS anyways, and it's not like anyone would prefer having her there.

Agree! Gigi fits VSFS. Bella does not.

So far Taylor, Bee, Ale, Jas and Jo haven't had fittings yet, of the Angels. Lily is in today, so I'm assuming a few more girls will be today as well.

Edit: Yesterday was the press day for fitting promos, and Sara, Elsa, Candice, Martha, Stella, and Lais were the Angels involved, and Bella and Gigi were at the offices the same day, so I'm sure they were included somehow.

It would have been nice to have some of the real top high fashion girls in the show this year.

I'm talking Imaan, Vittoria, Luna, Rianne, etc. Not because they necessarily fit the coquettish brand of VS, but because they'd lend an air of legitimacy and exclusivity.

^ That's sounds like an interesting idea, and I really like your 4 suggestions. Rianne would be a gorgeous highlight since they seem not to have too many redheads this year, but from all of them, I guess Luna is the one who fits best the show's aesthetic face and body-wise, her abs scream VS.

^ I agree, but I'm sure Amilna, Mayowa, Grace, etc. will deliver. + Majority of the current popular girls in HF would be placed in PINK, besides the Instagirls. I was surprised to know Imaan and Luna didn't do castings.
