It makes sense, the Balmain show was basically a preview of VSFS in terms of casting

Definitely makes sense for Alexina as well as a lot of the newbies for the show, which are Balmain favorites as well. That being said, didn't Bianca walk Balmain? Jeez, I'll never understand why she didn't get casted this year. Same goes to Maartje, she walked Balmain but was rejected for VS too.

HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW:

There will be a Punk segment and a Millennial segment as well as a Nomad segment which will open the show. (Millennial Pink, like the new Pantone color, for the Pink segment maybe???)

The show will INDEED be held in the Mercedes Benz Arena, and the taping will occur on November 20th.

There will be 3 different runways this year, which will rise and fall at different intervals, which explains why there's so many models.

The casting board order is almost always the same order: First 1-2 rows will be filled with Angels and Pink spokesmodels. The FIRST angel on the first row will open the show, the second has the fantasy bra, and the third either has the Swarovski outfit or will close the show. If the pattern proves true this year...

Adriana will open the show, Candice will have the fantasy bra, and Romee will have the Swarovski outfit. (UNCONFIRMED, JUST RUMORED)

Models walking the mainline of the show include Karlie K, Gigi and Bella H, Sui H, Barbara F, Cindy B, Blanca P, Maria B, Liu W, Ming X, Kelly G, Sanne V, Daniela B, Frida A, Aiden C, Megan W, Kate G, Nadine L, Devon W, Georgia F, Gizele O, Bruna L, and Jourdana P according to the casting board, along with some unrecognizable names so far.

It seems the PINK girls are on the bottom of the casting board, I can spot Alecia Morais, Victoria Lee, Alanna Arrington and Dilone. Almost positive Maggie Laine, Zuri Tibby and Grace Elizabeth also are PINK girls.

There will be a Winter segment as well, which may be called "A Winter's Tale". The outfits aren't all white and icy like previous "winter" segments have, they look very colorful.

Karlie, Gigi, Bella, Sui and Barbara F were preconfirmed models.

Xiao Wen, Maggie Laine, Xin Xie, Grace Elizabeth, Mayowa Nicholas, Julia Belyakova and Lameka Fox will walk PINK, Alexina G, Grace B, Estelle C and Amilna E will walk mainline. ^

I can't believe they put Mayowa in PINK either, but I'm sure she'll deliver and hopefully be upgraded next year. Hopefully they see her potential...

(looks like Samile Bermannelli and Leila Nda will walk PINK, Leomie A will walk mainline).

I wonder if those pinkish red cards mean they're walking both PINK and mainline, the 4 with the cards seem like they'd fit both lines too.

Zuri Tibby is the teeny tiny second model on the bottom row of the casting board, so she's walking PINK. Grace and Zuri are also preconfirmed because they are PINK Spokesmodels. Roosmarijn D.K. is the first face on the third row of the casting board, she's walking for the mainline but has a pinkish red card on her digitals.

Irina Sharipova, Dasha Khlystun, and Vanessa Moody are the 3 models left to ID. Looks like Dasha's walking mainline, she's the 3rd face on the second row of the casting board if I'm not mistaken. If Irina Sharipova is the last face on the second row, which I assume she is, she is also walking mainline. That being said, where's Vanessa? Was she a last minute addon? I can't ID her from the casting board.

I'm so sick of all these winter themes. Let it go. It peaked with the 2006 one, all the others have been redundant.

And surely Balmain won't just be Pink. Every girl walking it is a nobody (in my opinion lol). Surely they want the angels wearing the collection.

Almost positive the Balmain collection will be in Punk Angel, which is a mainline segment. And I agree about the icy winter snowy pure segments, EXTREMELY overdone but judging by the sketches it looks like the most colorful segment, so I'm hoping for something different.

Also noticing the wings this year look a lot bigger and more extravagant, I'm excited to see those come to life.

The model at 0:36 is Robin Holzken, her IG is robinmarjolein. She's gorgeous and works with VS all the time, but I can understand why they've rejected her a few times for the show, she walked Etam and this is what her walk looks like (8:35



The 3 runways could definitely be hit or miss. There's been lots of brands that have done ideas similar to it before, but bad camera angles, bad editing, etc. can ruin everything quickly. Knowing VS, I think they can make it work, but I agree - 8 days to edit.... and the 2016 show looked a little jumbled up in terms of editing too. Hopefully they don't do what they did in Boho Psychedelic in 2015 (put multiple different camera angles on the tv screen at the same time so the viewers have to focus on 3-4 different camera angles at the same time).

Lol at #BodybyIza2.0, exactly what I thought.
Who was the first girl? The one who says "I'm the first today" and runs all around.
Robin Holzken is a gorgeous girl, but I admit that her walk looks terrible.
Also at the beginning of the video, I heard them call "Shu Pei", but I don't remember seeing pics of her at the callbacks. Is she still in for the show? It's been a mystery.

I head them call Shu Pei as well but I don't think she was spotted at all in NY during the castings/fittings. She's in Shanghai right now so could she be fitting there? Probably a reach

Shu Pei was originally confirmed but I think she cancelled due to another job she had to do, although I don't have any sources to confirm that, and she hasn't even mentioned VS on her social media.

Was the first girl Julia Belyakova? I could be wrong, but it looks like her, and Julia made the show (walking PINK).

Blanca posted on her IG story "1 month countdown!" referring to the VS show. I thought it was going to be filmed on the 20th... yet another unsolved mystery I guess. Would they really need 6 days to do promo for the show (if it were to be taped on the 20th)??

It is rumored (NOT CONFIRMED) that Grace E. has 2 outfits this year... one PINK one mainline outfit.
