It barely looks like a fantasy bra so I have no idea how VS is going to make it stand out in the show. I'm not surprised Ale didn't get the bra this year apparently VS wants a girl that can handle the bra and I don't Ale is that girl. So thrilled for Candice

I'm not surprised Candice got it either. I knew Ale wasn't going to. However, I am surprised how plain the bra is and since VS loves blinging everything out, I think it is just going to get lost.

Well in 2005, they really didn't advertise the bra in the show. I'm sure it had tons of press prior to the show, but as far as I can remember, there was no "Gisele with the FB" or "the FB is on Gisele!". Plus it was their most expensive bra too right?

I wouldn't be surprised if this years bra is like less than $5 million. It's all been going down hill.

I'm not surprised Ale didn't get it. But I secretly wanted her to get it. I wasn't even thinking of Candice for the bra. All the attention was on Rosie. I'm sure it will look lovely on Candice, but it probably would have looked better on Ale imo

I am actually very surprised Ale didn't get the FB. Sucks for her! I'm not a fan of her at all, but damn, after all these years and with the huge success she's having right now she would have been the right choice for the FB, IMO. Candice seems like such a random choice

I totally saw Candice getting FB, it was clear from the way what and how much she does for VS and VS for her. And body-wise her body is waaaay better suited for Fantasy bra then Ale's.

Although I wanted Doutzen to wear FB but Im very happy for Candice too ( my second pick) so congrats, Candice !

No pictures are NOT out yet. The Lima-Fans staff is in contact with a few people who work for the company, and we able to see some stuff in advance (that's how we release news a lot sooner) So we announced earlier today that Katy perry would be performing, The show is airing on November 30th, and Candice got the bra.

Everything is 100%. It LOOKS like the show might be staying in NYC, but we aren't sure yet. Pictures should be released late September/Early October.

Don't get to excited though, it honestly looks like a cheap version of the 2006 version.

I am still hoping it's not the bra and they did it to trick us. I don't mind Candice wearing it. I think Adriana should open if Candice doesn't with the bra. So about that new thread... what's going on with that? Or should we wait until they announce the place next week?

^ We have to treat it like any other fashion show that showcases in NY, London, Milan, Paris, etc. So, I think once an official photo directly related to the show pops up then a thread can be started.

My guess is that the VS PTB are personally happy and proud that Ale (and Miranda) are getting recognition in other segments of the fashion industry, but at the end of the day high fashion cred does not amount to a hill of beans in comparison to which VS model moves merchandise in the catalogs and stores, gets hits on the websites and gets folks to turn out to launches and appearances and at this moment Candice seems to be very popular in the spheres that contribute to VS' branding and bottom line. I don't get the sense that long-time Angels Adriana and Alessandra have fallen out of favor, it's kinda hard to tell where things stand with Miranda and Doutzen because they are being used but newer girls are being used as much if not more and things may continue to be foggy since they both are pregnant and their VS activities are going to be curtailed for that reason.

Candice seems to be the VS Model of the Moment and has been for the past several months, so it doesn't matter a whit if she is not featured in Vogue or cast in high fashion shows (VS seems to be keeping her very busy, so I am not sure if she is as available as the others). I think they gave her the Fantasy Bra because she is probably the best person in their line-up to promote it in terms of public appearances and getting someone's attention when s/he come across her picture wearing the bra online or in print.

We have spent our morning looking over behind the scenes Christmas footage, and this is who is in the Christmas commercial
Adriana, Candice, Rosie, Chanel, Erin, and Katsia.

It's very whimsical, white horses, big white wings, and etc.

and why is the brand new Katsia already in the Christmas commercial? I barely like her catalog shots and already she is in the highly anticipated commercial....

i dont think candice will get it.vs could promote her as much as they want ,i have nothing against her shes quite lovely but i think this is ales year. unless the bra was designed specifically for a blonde in that case she would be lucky but last year they had a blonde .so im thinking ale its ales time

I actually wouldn't mind that. It would be kind of like how KK got it in 2002 and Maryna would of course be amazing as she always is.

I think Rosie could potentially get it considering she is one of their biggest up and comers and her popularity just continues to rise each and every day. It would be perfect pre Transformers promotion for her and VS as next year will be all about her anyway.
