I don't think we will really know if they were ever "let go". Some of us think we know every specific detail of VS but in reality, we probably don't.

I am assuming that they didn't renew their contracts. But of course there is always speculation and drama revolving why they aren't Angels anymore. At least KK and Selita are still doing the shows!

I agree with everyone who has commented on ditching the overbearing accessories and bringing back the feathered wings. I think VS made progress with Candice's Heavenly Bodies outfit and wings during last year's show. I loved the simplicity and subtleness of it. I also thought KK's 2005 blue wing outfit was great too. I really loved the 2001 show, when it was really basic and beautiful. And some good music would be nice too.

I find it very hard to believe. An 18 year old who is allegedly seeing Kanye West and has 368,000 views on a video is all of the sudden has one of the most lucrative deals in the fashion industry? I doubt it.

^But she's been modeling for VS for a couple of months now. Plus she's the star of the most recent Guess campaign and has appeared in the SI Swimsuit Issue. It doesn't seem that unlikely.

I don't see any model being made an angel after such a short time because being made an angel means that you can move product and it takes time to demonstrate that.

P.S.
Alternatively, you have to be able to score publicity, which is basically free advertising for VS, but that would have to be the high level / A-list kind of publicity that Gisele, Heidi and perhaps Miranda generate.

I think Ale deserves it the most, if it were up to me I would give it to her. She's been loyal to the company for so long, and she speaks well.

But I wouldn't mind if it were Doutzen, Miranda, or Candice. But I think Candice still has a year or two to get it.

I'd say Adriana will most likely open the show, she's really the only "powerhouse" they have. Ale is another one, but as much as I hate to say it, she just doesn't have the "BOOM" to open the show.

I don't see Ale getting the bra, if she did she would have gotten it before hand. Esp, since she isn't doing as much work as before with VS...I don't see her getting it this year, even though she deserves it.

Nobody was saying Adriana would get it? They were talking about possible her being a possible show opener since she usually does. Though I wouldn't count her out of the FB running either because as last year proves, VS is unpredictable.
