^^I'm still not seeing it with Karlie. She looks beautiful, but not VS beautiful. She looks more like a Lauren Bacall-esque fashion model. Jer beauty is regal, but not sexy to me. Just my opinion.

I agree with you but Karlie will be an Angel. VS hasn't never hyped and pushed a new model like this before not to make her an Angel. Ihave a love hate relationship with Karlie. She has a great pair of legs and can be adorable at times but she also be annoying too. In some of her interviews, she can come across as a vapid Disney twit that uses a faux accent to sound intelligent. Since she's supposed to be the next Gisele, Tyra, and Heidi for VS, I wonder will we she pull in the cheesecake fanbase ( straight male forums and magazines, ) like those models did for VS. I notice that since Candice lacks what Karlie has (runway energy, presence, and charisma and Karlie lacks what Candice has ( sex appeal), makes me wish that they could morph and to make one great VS model.

Since she's supposed to be the next Gisele, Tyra, and Heidi for VS, I wonder will we she pull in the cheesecake fanbase ( straight male forums and magazines, ) like those models did for VS.

I think Karlie will have a very large, dedicated female following which is perfectly fine as VS is a company for women. All those models you mentioned had some men's mag appeal, but they had large female followings as well. The VS execs have said numerous times that it's important for their angels to appeal to women, and I think Karlie is capable of doing that. If she can pull in teenage diehards who adore her and grow with her, then it can be a good scenario not just for her but for Victoria's Secret as well.

as far as newcomers go I never in a million years thought that Karmen would look as good as she did. it helped that she had outfits that complimented her body instead of like karlie's which sort of highlighted the fact that she has no boobs or hips lol.

next year I'd love to see Karmen, Shanina, Joan, and Bergje back (as far as the 1st timers)


another random thought - Constance's outfit was not selling any product, not bra, panties, or even swimwear. it was a good idea, but it was pretty random considering that most outfits usually are comprised of the collections that you can actually buy from VS...

Toni looked divine. She actually looks like a tyical blonde sterotype beauty, but WOWZA. She stands out as a "true" beauty. Not exciting, but so serene that I cannot look away.

God, I hate ALL the wings in the Pink section with an utter passion.

I loved Bregje's, Sui's and Toni's first looks, they looked AMAZING. That whole section actually had great costumes for the most part, just change Chanel's and Lais' outfits.

Karmen's corset in the Super Angels section is actually really good, it's a shame they had to pair it with pink underwear and white boots.

She's appealing precisely because she is charming, adorable, and likeable. Every angel isn't going to appeal to every woman which is fine. What one person finds appealing about an angel another person might not. What one person finds sexy another person dislikes. Plus, even if there are younger women who like Karlie, those women don't stay young forever. They grow up and sometimes they continue liking models as fans. Some of the same teenagers who loved Alessandra back in 2004 are now adult women who love Alessandra.
