It's been fun reading about your posts about the fashion show.

Stuff keeps appearing and disappearing on Youtube, so I quickly ripped this video when I found it yesterday. It's my favorite segment in yeeeeaaaars. It's just perfect. The girls, the lingerie, the music, Taylor, the set. Who could have known I was able to fall in love with Taylor Love it all, can't get over it.

I finally got to watch the show and loved the casting and wardrobe. I was overwhelmed by the music though, the songs were nice but didn't suit the segments. The only ones that matched were The pink section was a perfect match for Ariana so was that first part with Taylor and the opening section with that movie score like music but exotic traveller would have been nice with some exotic music to complement the mood. I miss that show where Anne V and Tyra Banks were stomping to a Russian remix of drop it like its hot also a tribute to James Bond would have been perfect

I tried watching exotic traveller on mute to a mix of Arabic Indian and tribal music and it was pretty dope

Hozier & Ed didn't fit - not the VS show, but the themes they were picked to do. I can't think of a song for Fairy Tales, but I know "Take me to church" is not it. Same with Ed's song for Exotic Traveler. I'm sure those guys could pull something like Great Big World last year with Shipwrecked, but they didn't fit with those two themes that were chosen for them.

Someone said there were rumors Doutzen was leaving.. I don't buy it. I honestly think Candice and her will be the next Alessandra and Adriana of the brand..the next veterans. Definitely Candice at least, look how popular she is!

If Taylor and VS weren't up each others *** so much we could have had decent music that fit the segments, give Ed the Dreamgirls section, move Hozier to Angel's Ball and keep Taylor in her Fairy La La Land. A mix for Exotic Traveler was needed.

Doutzen is gone, didn't Ed confirm it? To be honest, she never really stood out in VS and she never really seemed enthused about the brand, she seemed to do her contracted duties as needed and just used the prestige that comes with the Angel title to up her resume and persona. She never shined or did anything special with VS. She was a great filler Angel but an Angel none the less.

I truly believe that Rosie and Candice could have been the next Alessandra and Adriana but Rosie chose to give up, she was a perfect fit for the brand and vice versa, those two together would have been great heirs and now we're stuck with Behati. While she's done a decent job.... Rosie was something else.

I also got a feeling that Doutzen wasn't really into the whole bombshell angel thing as much as the others. I guess its Candance and Karlie that will be pushed to the front. Did anyone else feel like Jourdan didn't stand out this time? Must be the haircut. A slim girl like her needs bombshell hair for such a show

I almost completly disagree about Doutzen being a filler angel and never shined. It's no secret Doutzen had more ambitions then just VS. While in the beginning she did enough pressstuff, last years not so much. Didn't she make VS put in her contract that she was allowed to work with H&M? She choose to leave, VS didn't want to let her go. She doesn't need VS. I think it's really weird to say that she used it to build her name, don't they all? Where would Izabel be without VS? Or Behati? Or Heidi? At least Doutzen, Karlie and Adriana can do without. Maybe Candice to.

With Doutzen leaving, you lose one of the most classic beautiful girl who actually look like an angel. Elegance with sexiness. She, Ale, Adriana and maybe Candice are a whole another level then Lily, Lindsay, Erin, Karlie, Behati. I miss the old days in 2005, 2006 with Ana BB, Miranda, Rosie, Gisele, Morgane, Natasha ao who walked that show. Girls casted who actually are sexy, know how to walk and to pose. Not overdo it.

From this show only Joan, Romee, Bregje, Imaan, Jac, Devon, Kate G could walk in 2005/2006 show. Ofcourse with the girls who already were in that show and Behati for Pink and Candice.

I will miss Doutzen, she actually is a angel in the old terms. I miss Rosie and Miranda to! But this is just my opinion.

Wow, I guess Doutzen's gone. I hope she bounces back into the high fashion world they way Rosie has. What made Rosie leave VS again? And Candice is definitely the modern Adriana of the brand with her popularity.

^ I believe Rosie left because of the Transformers movie and hasn't returned because of her lucrative lingerie line. Not a bad deal, all in all, even though I do miss Rosie and Candice. They were perfect together.

yes she wanted to branch out into acting. She's got a part in the new Mad Max movie too, alongside Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Finally got to watch the show, and it sucked. Way too many performers, a lot of bad outfits, too much emphasis on the performers, Blank Space was too slow, and Take Me to Church just didn't work for it's segment. They should've just had Elie Goulding perform like two songs and focus more on the outfits and the girls

which makes me super disappointed, because this show could've been BRILLIANT.

but the musical performances ruined it. as much as i loathe her, Ariana Grande was the only one that fit properly into the segment. Taylor - as much as i adore her - was showboating waaaayyy too much and it was distracting and annoying. the other two were just boring. and took away from the models.

Agreed about Ariana. I can take her or leave her musically, but she was the best performance. Pink is typically the worst section, but the segment was really fun and I appreciated how Ariana did her thing, but she remained toward the back/middle of the runway when the models were on the stage allowing them to be the focus.

Didn't Rosie walk the 2010 show though, Transformers was already in post-production by that point. I was always under the impression that she left for M&S. As much as I miss her it was definitely the best choice, her ads are literally everywhere here in the UK.
