#4 - This married B list mostly television actress from a hit drama who gets confused with a similar actress has been having a long term affair with a producer of her show. His wife kicked him out and now he wants our actress to leave her husband. She refuses.

The sad thing about Weinstein is that he is well connected so no matter what, he will probably always be in this position. Even if the Weinstein Company goes broke, there will be another production company willing to hire him because he's actually not bad at what he does. His track record with films is pretty good (Chicago, Kill Bill, the Reader, Good Will Hunting, the Aviator are just a few films he has executive-produced), even though they haven't been doing too well lately (besides Inglourious Basterds).

And Carey Mulligan refused to play the press game and do much promotional work for An Education, which some say cost her the Golden Globe award... I doubt she would be willing to have a fake relationship.
