Oops, sorry. Scratch that. The blind item was from BuzzFoto, not Lainey. But, anyway, Lainey insists that Brad is the more controlling one when it comes to image, and the blind item states the contrary. Plus, she says an inside source (Catherine Keener) confirmed that they're still together (which could be just a cover up).

re: that old BI i always thought heidi and seal fit as well. she's always smiling into the cameras and wants the perfect image of the happy family and there were actually pictures of them ice-skating around that time. (the BI said something about a family vacation that she turned into a photo op, right?) although i think they're still quite happy heidi seems more concerned about her picture-perfect life in the media and constantly kisses him or hugs him etc, seal sometimes looks like it's too much for him

that's a great guess, i never thought about these two that way, though they really do tend to be all kisses and smiles and hugs in all the "candids".

Catherine Keener is protective of her close friends. She still said Brad and Jen Aniston were fine a few days before they annouced the separation. Jen even nicknames Keener "Mama Bear," in reference to Keener's protective nature.

I don't believe anything Lainey has to say. She is a terrible blogger with the worst sources. She lives in Vancouver and has few connections. How does she even know what goes on in Hollywood - she is so rarely there but she talks like she knows all. All her gossip is always wrong especially the Rob/Kristen hookup (which was so obvious to everyone else). I like how she is making it seem that Taylor Swift and John Mayer are dating - it's kind of obvious that Taylor likes attention (she and Taylor Lautner pretty much made up a romance) and she is working with Mayer - everyone knows he is a douche - he's too old for her - she is holding her virginity and he is giving interviews about orgasms - obviously they are going to use each other to get publicity but Lainey's sources says they are dating. I really can't stand her anymore - she is so over the top gushy about the girls she likes like Swift, Kristen Stewart and others and then so meanspirited about others that aren't as popular.

But my point is she is a terrible gossip and her blind vices are always obvious - you never have to work hard to figure them out.

Me too. She has pretty good sources, and a decent moral compass for a gossip blogger, IMO.

I like to read her breakdown of stars and events. She does a good job @ that.

As for the couple about to split. It could be Gavin and Gwen. Heidi and Seal is a good guess.

i don't remember her failing at any breakup/hookup stories other than rob/kristen (but it's believed she was totally wrong on that cus, at that time, certain person with own her agenda was feeding her this info). either way, she's witty, has some rules when posting and she makes me laugh on daily basis.

as for her going after woman harder than on men, i wouldn't agree. if you read her articles on john mayer or tom cruise...there are few ppl, women and men, that she tends to be vulgarly witty about, but i never did got an impression she's harder on women. dunno.

I think Lainey has changed a lot. I tend to skip half of her stories. She use to be funny and write interesting stuff. Even her red carpet commentary has changed. It is no fun. She writes about irrelevant people now. Anyways. This is a blind item thread. Not about Lainey. I will give her props for supporting Canadian artist and shows.

I also don't see how Lainey being in Vancouver affects anything....she travels frequently to Toronto, many, many films are done in Vancouver and Toronto and the good thing about her is that her sources are production assistants and people on set. Not "friends" of celebrities. Regardless, as others have said, I do find a lot of her posts funny and interesting and she's open that people will disagree with her. She reports them as she hears them, she's not saying everything she says is 100% true.

And the whole thing with one half being fed up of the publicity fits the stories that come out about them. Not that i believe the rags, but i believe that a man who cheats on his wife is unhappy, and that marriage probably won't last. Either way i think it's almost definitely the Beckhams.

There was something in the BI about how the female kept using the kids to grab attention from the media. Someone said in another post that Victoria is very protective of her children - so I don't think she fits the bill in this case. But who could it be, if not Brad Pitt and his lady?
