I agree that it's not necessary for VS to have to try and fill a quota of certain models per se in their Angel line-up and catalog/campaign roster. The most important thing is to find girls who can sell and move lingerie. Girls like Heidi Klum, Candice, Rosie, Adriana have a proven record for moving lingerie because they have it all--not just a pretty face.

It's great to have diversity, of course, and that is what everyone wants but at the same time you can't push it. The models for certain work need to be the right type that can sell to the general public. That means the right look and the right body and the right personality etc. They have to have it all and some of those things are out of their control so you can't just push a model into it. There are tons of great new faces with markets opening up and I'm sure there are girls with it all out there. I mean look at someone like Kelly Gale and even Candice Swanepoel who were totally unheard of and were new to most people in fashion but they have it all.

VS NEED to do a segment about Carnaval or Garota´s style. As a tribute for all the brazilian models they had worked over the years... Adriana, Alessandra, Izabel, Izabelli, Lais, Caroline, Ana Beatriz, Raquel... With an amazing Samba band playing or a mix, beautiful head pieces with feathers, garotas inspired outfits. "Angels of Carnaval"... Maybe next year to close all the World Cup fieber!

Cindy Bruna is shooting swim in Turks & Caicos. I'm on the fence about her.
She looked absolutely stunning in VSFS, but most other times I find her face rather plain.

Cindy Bruna is plain for VS... I rather Joan signed. I am glad they got rid of Erin, and next to go should be Lily, but that won't happen. I actually have started to like Karlie for VS all except for her soccor mom do it throws everything off. They definitely need a more classy girl signed as well.

lily needs to go asap, nobody relates to her and ive yet to see one perrson on this thread who loves lily a an angel. they should push lindsey ellingson more, shes lovely and by far the best spokesmodel they have.

I believe Adriana's and Ale's are due next year or 2015, anyone knows the rest?

Doutzen got her's renewed this year, right? Was it a 3 years one?

Since were speaking of Angels, Lindsay and Lily are the weakest angels of the bunch, but they are good spokespersons, there's no denying. But VS could still use them to promote stuff, like Bregje and Martha did, without an Angel contract. And they could still be on the show, a la Izabel.

Karlie has grown a lot on me this year, her body is more feminine now, she does had some class to the lineup, and it's nice to see some variety too.

Behati keeps getting more gorgeous each year, and with her engagement to Adam I don't see her leaving anytime soon.

Candice is probably gonna be there for 20 years

Adriana is asked in almost every interview she does when she is leaving or how long she plans on staying and at this point, I think Candice might be gone before her. I wouldn't be surprised.

Candice has been the Head B!tch of Victoria's Secret since 2010, the girl sells and at 25 years old she shows no signs of slowing down, she can easily be with VS for another 10 years a la Heidi and deservingly so. She is the only Angel VS has that can keep up with it's roster of previous supermodels. Behati lacks a certain star power (even though engaged to Adam).

If they were able to keep Rosie and Candice, VS would have a set of modern models to make up VS and be proper heirs to Alessandra and Adriana as well as Gisele and Karolina then Heidi and Tyra before them.

I rather VS keep Lily and Lindsay on as Angels for their spokesmodel skills than just using them like that without the contract. Bregje and Martha were most likely tested as possible future Angels to see how they good they would do in selling the product.

Well said. Sigh, Rosie left too early she had the perfect look and was a very nice counter to Candice. If Adriana and Ale both were to leave, I really don't see any of the current roster being able to keep up with Candice.

yeah and I've taken Behati out of the running, she's got the celebrity fiance/husband boost that I automatically disqualify. At the amount of screen time he got in the show, they might as well do a campaign together.

I don't think that was the only reason, she still walked in the 2010 show when Transformers was already post-production, there must have been other reasons for her departure, I'm guessing the M&S deal may have played a rather large part. Having your own line under the umbrella of a high street giant is possibly just as, if not more, lucrative than being a VS girl.

...Oh, and FYI Mad Max comes out next summer.

yeah rosie wasnt my favorite but she was without a doubt amazing as a VS angel.
