I loved her BNA look as well, almost forgot she wore wings with it b/c they were almost unseeable (?) against the LED layout in the background, but I'll always prefer Karlie's stunning bodysuit in Snow Angels, so stunning that it didn't need wings to amplify the outfit. I can only hope they give Romee the smaller wings with the bodysuit, as an accent piece. Romee tends to get beautiful VSFS outfits, so I expect that they'll do so.

TBH, the bodysuits haven't been that great... their embroidery team always leaves something to be desired and they REALLY need to match the fabric color to the model.

The best ones IMO have been Devon's in 2014, but the look would have been great with just a bra and panties, Cindy Bruna in 2015... the embroidery there was amazing... Karlie's in 2014 was pretty much a cheap man's Thierry Mugler and Candice's coloring was all wrong.

I prefer long sleeve leotards with long boots as opposed to bodysuits... Karolina in 2007, Barbara in 2015, those were amazing and much sexier than say Chanel Iman in 2009.

I do agree that Romee always looks great on the runway, she's always reminded me of a baby Karolina Kurkova... she has the height, the big smile.. I'm glad she's wearing big wings, I hope she does them justice.

Her last outfit last year was one of my favorites, simple with nice touches and small but pretty wings that matched the rest of her outfit, she could have easily been in the 2005/2006 shows in that look... either in the Crystal Princess segment from 2005 or Glacial Goddesses from 2006.

"Baby Karolina". Or "Young KK". I hear this a lot, actually, and while I guess I can see similarities - just to put it into perspective, Romee is 22 years old. When KK was 22 years old, it was the 2006 VSFS. The one where she lost her shoe and wore that gorgeous white fantasy bra. She was certainly by then such a full-fledged woman bombshell I don't imagine anyone would have called her "baby" anything.

No tea no shade, just an observation about how much younger seeming VS wants their models these days.

^^i think a lot of that has to do with Pink, which funnily enough was launched around 2006 wasn't it?. It's become such a driving force behind the brand. It must be their biggest earner. They actually open just Pink stores now.

The whole thing has become a bit gimmicky. The beauty products, the clothes (hoodies, sweatpants, etc) it all seems geared towards a younger crowd I think older woman tend to just shop elsewhere for actual lingerie. There's so much competition these days.

All credit to them they found a niche in the market and completely capitalised on it. I guess their spokesmodel choices have to reflect that. This goes back a few years now. Minus adriana & ale (who are an exception to just about anything current VS related) all the angels, even Candice & Behati could still pull off a Pink campaign.

Whereas, I couldn't see the likes of older, more bombshell, angels like KK, Tyra, Gisele talking about their favourite strawberry scented body mist. LOL.

There has been talk on wall street and the news that Pink=the death of VS. It brings in the most sales but the product is much cheaper than main line so the company's profits have been at an all time low the past few years. They say Aerie is taking over that teenage demographic.

I agree, Bobby, I could never picture the Golden Era girls in this New Angels Era we have going on. And yes, that includes Adriana, Alessandra, and #BodyByIza. PINK and VS were both successful once - that was when the brands actually successfully appealed to 2 different demographics. Why, VS, would you now try to appeal to a demographic so similar to PINK's?

Things have changed I guess Nowadays VS seems to focus on teenagers more and more, which is fine by me, that's why they have PINK imo, but their mainline should really go back to the way it used to be, mature and sexy yet classy and elegant at the same time. Tricky to achieve but manageable and they used to be SO good at it, I mean look at old advertisements of VS, even ones of the 80s and 90s before PINK was around. Such class and beautiful lingerie + they had the best models working for them... Now? Not so much in my opinion. As much as I'd like to, I honestly don't see things changing anytime soon.

It's definitely the benefit of the doubt, but still (imo) a very logical reason why she might've gotten her own separate fitting, especially taking into account she hasn't been very active in VS lately. Maybe that's the surprise of the show Barbara F. is raving about? She's coming back with the FB? It is rumored Candice might have the FB according the Weibo, I wouldn't be disappointed if they got a Behandice dual FB but also sorta want the dual FB to be exclusive to Adri and Ale.
