Just out of curiosity, why do you find it offensive?

I explained why...
what part isn't clear to you...?
if you don't understand why an underwear parade/spectacle is offensive, I'm not sure how to explain it...
seems really obvious to me...

it's not very different than a strip club...
except the girls are paid better...
which might actually make it even more offensive...
it's degrading and objectification...

no one could give a rat's *** about the underwear...
it's all about the bodies...
all T and A...
and a very specific kind of ideal of female beauty...
it's basically live blow up dolls on parade...

there is no bigger sign that this underwear spectacle is outdated than the fact that even the miss America pageant has taken swimwear out of its lineup...

Seeing Yasmin Wijnaldum's latest pics for VS ... she is spectacular in them; truly a match made in heaven. And with her excellent runway walk? I think there's no way she doesn't become a star at this years VSFS. Easily the model I'm most looking forward to seeing.

the complete lack of fashion...
the excuse to parade a particular sexual fantasy under the guise of a fashion show...

I think that the original VS shows (late 1990s / early 2000s) sold sex but it is a lingerie company so duh.


I would argue that selling sexual fantasy is not the key focus of the more recent shows, it is much more of a musical variety show with heavy product placement.

Zuri Tibby and Maggie Laine are walking the show without going to castings. Of course, this should lead us to also believe Grace Elizabeth may have already made the show.

RUMORS:
Maggie Laine??? Rumor has it that she's a new contracted PINK spokesmodel. She’s walking the show without attending castings...
Devon Windsor??? Rumor has it she's no longer a fitting model for VS.
Aiden Curtiss/Leomie Anderson??? They were both spotted in London when VS was first working on the show, which leads some to believe they may be new fitting models.
Behati??? Will Bee walk this year's show? Will she get the FB? Will she open the show?

Yeah I feel like it'll be more of a "Are you free on the night of the VS show?" and film all their reactions. It'd be good publicity after the sh*tshow that was China and yet still quite cute.
