Some of these girls are insanely gorgeous but you really don't have to be a casting director to know a lot of them don't suit VS.

Callbacks are scheduled to be on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th rather than Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th, which we had originally thought. If the list currently looks underwhelming... trust me, you're not the only one who feels that way. Usually, the veteran models don't confirm their callbacks until the Getty photos come. Then again, the first castings were much more on the commercial side of modeling than ever before, so I wonder to what extent the HF icons and established names will pop up at callbacks. We'll see.

Here’s some news some of you may be happy to hear: Hailey Baldwin will seemingly not be attending callbacks because the Tommy Hilfiger show in Shanghai, which she will be walking, takes up the callback dates.

This means either she won’t be walking the show at all or she got an invite to go directly to walking the show (Karlie, Bella, and Sui got these invites last year, and Kendall, Gigi, and Irina the year before.) HOPEFULLY we don’t get the latter because of Bieber...

The past few years there have been far too many models in the show. Even Karlie felt like a non-event last year, because she didn't get enough actual screen time. It's time for them to change it up and go back to more exclusivity in the model selections. That's what made it such a HUGE deal for the models who got cast in the show; they'd benefit from some genuine exposure on an enormous scale. When they're each getting like 8 seconds per outfit, it's incredibly rare to get any memorable model moments.

I might take Alexina off the callbacks list. She’s in Slovenia right now so she probably got invited straight to the show which wouldn’t surprise me.
