Yes, we're back to square one. Katy Perry is performing. The show airs Nov. 30th. We did find out who was in the commercial that we could see (Adriana, Katsia, Candice, Erin, Chanel, Rosie, Lily (?)). And Ale wasn't one of them.

I find it so strange that she is not there, she hasn't done much for them recently either. Besides being pregnant which is an obvious excuse for missing the shoot, its weird how she is there, yet they have not utilized her.

It could always be a possibility but I highly doubt it. Usually if the girl gets her own commercial (outside of Heidi) they just edit it down from the group commercial like Adriana in 08. I highly highly doubt she got her own commercial.

As far as I know, Ale didn't shoot any commercial for the holiday campaign . . .

I don't care who gets the FB I just want to see what it looks like. I don't want Ale to open the show again it was an epic fail last year so VS don't make that mistake again. The commercial/catalogue shoot looks good from what I've seen.

I totally disagree. I think that the 2009 opening number was one of the best segments in the history of the VSFS, now I don't want to overplay Ale's role, but I think she helped set the tone.

I think it's a given Adriana will open the show. She's like the unofficial replacement for Gisele who used to open (almost) every VS show.

that was one of the worst openings. Ale was weak, the costumes were ugly, the two wings weren't really wings at all. I couldn't even call what Liu Wen had on a costume.

To me the opening last year was the worst opening in the history of VSFS's. I do agree that Adriana has a huge chance of opening the show. VS loves her opening the show.

Adriana has opened quite a few shows, so obviously they like her and my money is on her to open the 2010 show as well, but that does not mean that Ale did badly in 2009. I think that the 2009 opening was over-the-top and the costumes were well costumey, but it was fun, energetic and memorable - I remember the clothes, the models, the music and the moves, I can't say that about other segments last year or segments from previous years - although of course there were other memorable segments in 2009 and before. I will cop to it being excessive and fashion and taste may have taken a back seat, but it was a fun ride.

ales opening was weak, but it was not completely her fault i mean she had a kite on her back. those wings where the worst ive ever seen at vs to memory the entire costuming was awfull even gisele would not have been able to pull off that hideous number.

I wouldn't pin the entire blame on Ale. She should have concentrated on walking instead of making eye contact with the BEPs and waving her arms. I do have to blame VS more. The outfit she wore was probably the worst. The wings looked cheap and the fact that they had a group singing while she was walking was just not a good.

I fully expect Adri to open. I'd be surprised if Ale opened. There is an ounce of hope that KK can come back and kick everyone's butt and open the show but that's only in my dreams

zann the part about kk coming back and opening thats in my dreams to omg we share the same dream.however i dont think she would ever do vs again.i cant help but to think things didnt end well with her and vs hopefully im wrong

I'm still sticking to what I said about Ale. The worst opening ever. I know it didn't help with the BEP performing or the ugly outfit they gave her but I know for a fact if Gisele or Adriana opened that show they could of pulled it off. Ale is not a strong model on the runway imo

^ I know this is an unpopular opinion, but Gisele does not impress me on the runway, of course she is by no means bad and is in fact good, but you have to catch her during the right four seconds to see amazingness - she is particularly fabulous with the end of the runway poses but the looking down thing drives me nuts(!!!) and in general, she is too noticeably self conscious. So yeah she is phenomenal in snippets, but watching her do a full walk is just .

To me, between Adriana, Alessandra and Gisele, Alessandra was the best person to open under the 2010 conditions and that is not even me trying to stick up for her as a good walker, which I think she is. On the runway, Gisele does not have the sense of humor or kitschiness to pull off that monstrosity (now she has a great backstage personality!) and Adriana is at the opposite end, she's too silly and would look like she is out trick-or-treating. Hey, I don't think it is a big feather in Ale's cap for her to be the best girl to wear a neon pink and sherbet orange sunburst with leather leg warmers and wedge sandals on a runway while a four person musical group performs with eight(?) dancers, nevertheless she is.

I like some of Ale's work and there is no denying she's a hard working model, and can nail pictures better than most of the Angels. I do agree she's not the best for opening the show, I love her as the second girl to come out, I just didn't care for her to open the show. Just personal opinion.

Last year opening was memorable ? Oh please. Anything but memorable. Yeah VS can be blamed too - having BEP on stage performing like they did, they totally outshined Ale for sure. But having said that a good model with a great runway presence would have worked it and rocked it regardless of who else is on stage. Which she did not. Alas. Wish she did.I understand the love but not biased adoration and denial of obvious things.

I can't deny that her HF pics look awesome! She's a beautiful girl! Her eyes are just . She actually reminds me of Natasha Poly, my biggest HF love!!! Her body is also gorgeous!

However, how come she is in the holiday commercial when Ale isn't?! This is really a turn-over...
