His clothes are tacky, but when you're doing the VSFS, I think that's actually advantageous. Not looking for ground breaking designs, just stuff that's a little out of the box but not Commes de Garcons level of weirdness. I just hope they don't re-use wings again.

VS changed the FB announcement date to November 1st (previously November 7th, Elsa's birthday), and Elsa also liked a comment saying, "lais you deserve fb than anyone. i belive you will rock it" The suspense is killing me now...

I wonder if working with Balmain is part of a wider long term plan to move away from outright lingerie. It does feel like they've been covering the girls a little more every year during the show.

Or is this just a gimmicky ploy because they're such a conservative part of the world?

It does feel like the brands been struggling with their identity a little.

I have to agree, she's got an incredible body... (2nd favorite Angel body behind Candice, imo) I've wanted her to get the FB for a while but I really hope she delivers bc she's hit or miss with her performance at the VSFS.

She definitely deserves it is if is her who got it. Her first VSFS was in 2010, she was made an angel in 2015. I consider Lais the bridge between the New Angels and the Veteran Angels. Weird to think Lais and Lily A. started working for VS months away from eachother but Lily is considered a veteran and Lais a new angel because it took the brand so long to give her a contract.

Lais has one of the most incredible bodies ever. She's such a glamazon, it's kinda a shame that she doesn't transmit much energy on the runway. Her look+killer fierce walk would be perfect. If she gets the fantasy bra (which I hope because she deserves it the most together with Elsa) I bet she'll kill it on the photo shoot and then on the runway.. Well I hope she won't be too nervous.

100% agreed ^. Adriana and Alessandra are the faces for the new VS collection!!! Adriana also said a rap/hiphop artist would be performing at the VSFS this year in a new interview. We know both Taylor and Harry are pretty much the furthest thing away from rap and hiphop, so I wonder who this performer may be.

Anyway, I wonder who that rapper might be? Nicki Minaj or her new rival Cardi B? Kendrick Lamar is really successful and great but he doesn't fit VSFS. Drake could be another possibility but I haven't heard much from him lately.

I think Nicki and Cardi are on good terms, just another fan rivalry because Cardi got a #1 Billboard song before Nicki did. I really, really disliked Nicki at the 2011 show. Kendrick and Drake seem like the most realistic choices as well due to their recent album releases (and VERY successful and critically acclaimed songs), although I do agree that Kendrick wouldn't quite fit the VS show. I would say Rihanna, but not only has she not released an album this year, but I wonder if she'd ever do the VSFS again, regardless she's still my favorite VSFS performer. I've compiled a list of hip hop, rap, and r&b artists that have released an album or have an upcoming album set to release this year:

Adriana confirmed she’s getting two outfits, so I’m positive all angels are getting two outfits again. Irina Sharipova also confirmed that the models will walk the VS runway on November 20th, which aligns with the date listed on the Taylor and Harry post. That being said, there will probably be 3 performers - Taylor, Harry, and the hip-hop artist.

Yasmin Wijnaldum got a gift from VS today, it’s probably a sign that they’re interested in her. I would love to see her walk the show one day, she has one of my favorite walks and such a radiant beauty.
