I liked Karlie and think she can grow but the Gisele thing they're not comparing their looks, just similarities in career early on in their young age. Gisele isn't "curvy" in the typical sense, but she has always had a major sex bomb body, even as a teen. Always. It's what first got her noticed, lol.

Izabel is an angel to me as far as I'm concerned. Stands out just as much as one.

i don't follow VS, but i would love to see shannan click become an angel. she has always been a favorite of mine, and since she transitioned into the more commercial market, VS would be perfect for her. lais would make a good angel as well IMO.

bregje would be a wonderful choice for pink. and i think karlie would make a good angel in the future, once her career in high fashion tapers off. she's already becoming a household name (i know this isn't really true, but i know a lot of people who don't follow fashion/models that have heard of her), and with a little bit of "training" she would be a wonderful addition.

toni and sui are two of the most beautiful women. and BOO for liu wen only getting one outfit.

But 90% of the girls are HF girls now, so it was to be expected. On one hand some HF girls make the transition from HF to VS easily, others just look a little odd and out of place. I wish they would cast some more commercial looking faces to bring some real glamorous sex appeal back to the shows.

Ok so after looking at that video on youtube of Super Angels i have to say this: WOW at Karlie!! did you guys see that walk??!! and then on her way back stopping briefly in front of Kanye. I wasn't sold until I saw this! She even managed to outshine Joan i think it was who came after her down the runway... I want to see this on tv NOW!!!!

The girls all looked beautiful! It look me ages to read through all of the pages in this thread, haha.

The good:
The new girls really surprised me and stole the show. Bregje and Tony, especially, just looked incredible. I'm not a big Karlie-fan but she surprised me as well and has serious angel potential. Jacq, Behati, Lais, Elsa, Liu and Caroline were also incredible.
I really expected the Anna/Adam moment to be very awkward but in the Spanish video a few pages back it was very sweet, especially when he kissed her on the cheek.
The outfits are much better than last year - especially the Aquatic and Victorian sections which were stunning. Pink was very covered-up this year (not that there's anything wrong with that) and a little disappointing. 2009 will always be my favourite Pink section. I wish Behati opened, she deserves it.

The bad:
The music. In that Spanish video a few pages back, it really didn't work. I prefer it when they remix songs rather than have performers (see: Pink 2009 when they had that gorgeous remix.) Super Bass was probably the most fitting/best runway song of the night. Moves Like Jagger could have been quite good for Pink and 'Power' might have been a nicer Kanye song for Super Angels... Has VS ever used Duran Duran? 'Girls on Film', 'Rio' or 'Girl Panic' would have been PERFECT.
I'm not a big Lily Aldridge-fan when it comes to VS. She's a stunning woman and seems like a great person but I find her incredibly awkward on the runway for Victoria's Secret. She tends to make odd/slightly embarrassing movements during Pink. I don't want to be mean about her though or model bash...

If you watch the videos posted a few posts above me, what did Erin have in her hand at the end of the Super Heroes segment? It looked like a remote control. But I think something went wrong, like whatever it was it didn't work. Maybe her wings were supposed to open or something?

Thats a bit rude to generalize like that. Just because youre into "black models" doesnt mean you have to bash "white" ones, so immature.

Bregje surprised me.. Toni was great to as were the supers Candice (she will be the next supermodel), Adriana and Doutzen.
Karlie has a great body, but she has the most awful smile (no upperlip) and teeth...

The video from the Super Angel segment looks good.

The models walked well, not too much pointing and kiss blowing (except Adriana maybe) and the song suits the segment.

I'm not the biggest fan of Karlie but the walking looked good. Hope that Erin's remote control worked on the second taping.

I swear, these people acted like 12 year olds at a Justin Bieber concert during Jay-Z's and Kanye's performance. SMH.
Candice's opener was a little underwhelming, tbh. I'm glad Adriana didn't make any weird faces. She looked so so stunning in the 'I put...' segment. Miranda/Orlando & Anne/Adam were cute. Just a little sweet moment, nothing too cheesy a la Heidi/Seal. Looks good so far!

^^ Agreed. It looks like a concert for Kanye and Co and not a fashion show where models are the main focus ugh. So sad.
