I like the song in Pink, but that segment isn't what it used to be. I remember it being one of my favorites in like 2007 and 2008, but not so much after that. I don't know why they close the show like that now. It also irks me that every year they cover up the models more and more. Most have great bodies - showcase them. Still looking forward to the show, annoyances aside.

I honestly think the dancers shouldn't be on the runway section of the stage. I'd be so peeved if I was in the audience and I had a dancer blocking my view of the models. Besides, there's too much happening on the runway at once and it's hard to know where to look.

I agree with whoever said that VS is transitioning and the opening was an experiment. To me it looks like they are trying to see if all these new faces they have will take off. They know that Candice is not a powerwalker, but her strength is being all innocent sexy, thus the opening with that type of segment. They can't rely on Adriana forever, as her and even Alessandra have a limited amount of time left with them, but Candice and all the new girls, well they are all in the same position that Adriana/Ale were 10 years ago.

There were so many outfits in the pink section that would of been better openers. Like Lindsay's outfit would of been perfect. Poor Erin...that skirt was horrible.

I still don't understand how VS thinks it's appropriate to have slow music. Really, you're going to pust a slow part in PINK??? Rhianna, that was a joke! If there is a slow song I want what 2005 had in Sexy Shadow Dreams, or Sexy Russian Babes, even Enchanted Forest worked out.

Damn Chanel, i've been trying to defend you from your haters & this is how you pay me? Pulling out that mess on the runway? Terrible terrible. However, Lily takes the crown as the worst walking Angel ever, she seriously makes everyone else look amazing, what's going on with her neck & face?

Candice's opening wasn't a disaster but as expected she didn't do a good job eiyher, it's way too weak & you can tell she was extremely nervous, but again i wasn't expecting her to make a memorable opening i think a lot of people saw this coming, if this was the 3rd or 4th segment it would be fine but definitely not opening material.

I seriously think VS should change the segments for Tv & open with Super Angels because that Ballet segment was a hot mess, there's nothing worth watching until Alessandra comes out & she was like the 4th model to come out?

for TV they should have Super angels as the opener. Espcially considering it had Kanye and Jay-Z. I know they don't want to use Adriana as the opener all the time, but Candice does not have a strong opening work. I preferred Anja's walk to Lily A and Chanel's. How on earth are they angels with those horrible walks. I am so embarrassed to be a Chanel fan with the horrible walk in the first segment. What exactly was she doing? She looks drunk

i am droning myself here, Candice's walk was good. She had this classy elegant look but the song was nonconcurred with the segment !!

Just because it's a ballet segment doesn't mean the segment should be set to a slow song. I think the song is a greater opener - it's energized, has a great build up tempo. Candice just did not go well with it.

Yes, she looked elegant and graceful, but if you look at someone like Adriana when she opens she brings so much energy and dynamics. When Candice walks I think 'she is pretty'. But whenever Adriana walks out I think 'WOW'. I know they are different girls but it's just my view. Adriana is the best walker VS has, she brings energy and interacts with the crowd without looking desperate. I think VS got it wrong this year. The sad thing is that they had no choice, there is no other options out there. Adriana can't do it every year.

It makes me laugh all the people who said Chanel would be a better opener then Candice. Imagine Chanel or Lily opening the Ballet segment
