She didnt seem cold and distant to me. Just because she is not all over the place like some other models it doesn't mean she is cold. She is poise and classy and I think the mix is what works best. Some are over the top, some are not. She always is a nice addition to the show.

Anyway, the cast seems underwhelming so far.

I dont think Maryna, Hilary, Trentini, Magdalena, Edita will walk this year. But then again, not that it matters much anymore for me...

Grace Mahary!! Oh gosh that is just too exciting. I agree with you guys this cast is impressive so far other than maud welzen but they need to use the remaining spots for some mature veterans. And keep the models hair straighter this year, it's overly curly the shows :/ not sexy. I'm also glad jac is back but they should not put a model as elegant, refined, and highly regarded as jac in the cheesy pink section. Although she rocked it last year they need to bump her up to the main line.

Agree with this, Jac deserves more than to be dumped in a filler position. She's remarkable, has the body and face not to mention the height.
Maud is an odd pick, get Maryna back in there, she's pretty much everything you want as she's one of the few who has the commercial sexiness along with the HF elegance.

hmm ...

going through all the pictures and the instagrams of the confirmed girls -- it does strike me as a very young crowd. We need a couple more veterans in there so balance it all out.

It also is pretty evident that there is an absence of real "fashion" girls in the cast. there are some there, to be sure, but so far other than the Angels and Jourdan -- there are precisely zero models included in this years VSFS that are on models.com "Icons" or "Next Generation" or "New Supers" lists. And only Jac and Cindy Bruna from the "Top 50" list.

I don't like that, to be honest. I prefer to have more fashion girls in the lineup. So - the rest of the slots better be filled by some industry pros, some veterans or some of the big girls in fashion right now.

That's what I meant when I said that VS has lost it's prestige. Basically all girls that are not Angels are HF rejects.
A few years ago some HF top models would walk the show, like Abbey, Natasha, Maryna, Edita, Lara and recently Hilary and Lily.

I really don't get the appeal of Sara Sampaio, Kelly Gale or Maud Welzen. Sure they are pretty girls, but every girl who shows up to the castings is pretty. How they made it over Daniela de Jesus is beyond belief.

I'm excited to see Imaan walk this year. I've never been a huge fan of hers in the HF world, but she could definitely be a VS angel. Daniela Braga & Blanca Padilla also have a lot of potential with VS. They need some angels of color!!
