Okay. Alright. Breathe in, breathe out. To be perfectly honest, I have mixed feelings regarding the cover and the accompanying editorial.
First off, I'm a bit bothered with those white borders on the cover. It's simply irritating to see cause it blocks the beauty of the cover especially how beautiful Meisel shot the girls. Like if someone posts the HQ of the cover without the master head and other texts, will we be getting those white borders too? Crap.
Second, why on frigging earth is Edie placed in that position with the supermodels? Guinevere should have been placed in there. And where the hell are the other supermodels? Shalom, Nadja, Kristen? Even Gisele and Daria are not part of this. I'm really surprised especially with Gisele and Kristen considering they have done extensive work that have become iconic with Meisel. Even the top models of the late 90s like Maggie, Audrey, Carmen, Kirsten and the rest. Where are they? Shame.
Third being the main editorial. Like seriously, is that it? I was really and truly expecting to see some extravagant editorial or editorials by Meisel since it's an anniversary issue. I'm sorry but the shots look like outtakes. Like BTS that sort of thing.
But on to the positive side, this is a thousand times better than US Vogue's. So happy to see Elise, Hilary, Stegner and Stammy on the cover. So it's really 50 models on the cover, ha.
Can someone lists the complete cast on the cover? TIA.
